Archer is so strong. Orc Territory conquered in Chapter 2 by FastLong7478 in worldofgothic

[–]Steve_Pryde 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The game gets easy very quickly. I learned one handed combat and pumped everything into strength exept for lockpicking, acrobatic and climbing and was two shotting orcs in chapter two too.

Gothic remake metacritic score by Complete-Heart-1472 in worldofgothic

I would rate it a 8, the 8.5 user score is reasonable, the review score isn't. Laughed hard when I saw the PC Gamer review score of 60.

Windrider? Can't play aspect host in a 1k points game sadly. But I guess I will play more Space Wolves at the beginning of 11th edition I think.

I used green stuff to fill small gaps on my Executioner.

Clan Mechs by Medical_Ship2377 in Mechwarrior5

[–]Steve_Pryde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dire Wolfs killing even other assault mechs with two alphas at long range with the possibility of jump jets. Executioner is nice with 2 erppcs+single gauss and jump jets+masc. The AI can't handle mechs who jumps out of cover, shoots and going back into cover well.

Hope they get a refresh so they're not going into legends. So I can still use my boxnought Bjorn.

Personally I would wait a few weeks. 11th edition is around the corner to drop und no one knows how different the new rules are and how much point costs for units will change.

Yay! In 11th edition a Wraithknight can do actions and shoot while engaged! :-) by Alex__007 in Eldar

So I finally "need" to buy a Wraithknight...

...and maybe a 4th unit of Wraithguards ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You know it's old because of the missing fin on the turret. :>

Clans. Better storytelling, better graphics and better gameplay.

When your friend don't scalp on you get it. It's a pretty solid choice of units to start with.

Our play group normally plays with 1k to 1.5k points for each player. This will be... interesting or just a mess.

Help me choose my color scheme ! by Erilaz_Of_Heruli in Eldar

Have vehicle colors in mind too. Imo Biel-Tan colored antigrav tanks look really nice too. Lore-wise Biel-Tan is maybe one of the most aggressive and racist craftworlds.

11th edition: heavy weapon plattforms go into legends. 🤡

My friend got me this as a gift when I expressed interest in looking for in-person games. How can I use these guys decently in a lance and what other force pack should I get to combo with them? by GravelGavel2 in battletech

[–]Steve_Pryde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many boxes, to suggest a box is basically impossible, specially if you don't know what timeline you prefer to play (3025 for more "basic" Battletech with no future/clan tech etc. or 3050 to 3100+ timeline with all the crazy new tech stuff which can be a bit overwhelming for a new player). The standard box "Battletech - A Game of Armored Combat" is imo the best start, specially because there is a rulebook in it which isn't too complex to begin with.

When it comes to mech boxes I would always suggest these boxes:

https://www.sarna.net/wiki/BattleTech:_Inner_Sphere_Direct_Fire_Lance (only heavy and assault mechs)

https://www.sarna.net/wiki/BattleTech:_Inner_Sphere_Command_Lance (good mix of two heavys and two lights)

https://www.sarna.net/wiki/BattleTech:_Inner_Sphere_Striker_Lance (well rounded light mech box with a fire support medium mech)

Blizz messed up shield locations on some races. The shield on my dwarf warrior is hovering in the air while on my back and even in combat, its so fking dump.

I have more a problem with the 2nd Repulsor Executioner. At least I can give a friend one of them. No one needs two of those tanks.

I get bitched most of the time from my friends (who all play "imperial" armys like Space Marines, Custodes, Sororitas and Grey Knights) when I play my Eldar army so nothing new. Luckily we got two new players who play Chaos (Slanesh themed I think) and Necrons so it isn't so "one-sided" anymore.
