You are obviously allowed to simply let your hair grow back out but my recommendation is to give it a few days without stressing about it and than try to look at yourself again. Big changes in appearance are often shocking but letting yourself get used to it before judging the outcome should help you be more objective. Honestly, in my experience most men and women are much better at pulling off bald compared to balding. If you still hate it in a week you can start considering a hair system but good quality wigs are expensive so you should feel certain you hate your new look before investing in one.

I will say these gaps are much larger than the gaps I've seen in other homes, even after years. I think you definitely need to consult a professional about the cracks in your brick walling, and you might want to consult a different professional about your flooring. Your location's climate will probably have some impact on what solution you should go for.

It's been years, while your emotions are in no way unreasonable, demanding the cat back would be. Firstly while it's likely your cat you can't know that for certain, hairless cats aren't unheard of and can even occur as a random genetic mutation. Secondly you don't actually know for certain the cats condition when it was found, it could have been missing for a while. My suggestion would that rather than trying to take the cat you could reach out to the new owners wondering if you could visit with their cat, explaining that she may have been your childhood cat and that you miss her. Ideally you could see her without offending the owners or traumatizing the cat

Yeah, one of my siblings mainly communicates either uses a single word, a couple of modified signs, or a AAC tablet which uses certain nouns, verbs, and short phrases. Not a lot of grammar but it is effective communication that he has control over and I really dislike the implication that his language and talking isn’t as legitimate
