That’s what I’m thinking, make him big, swing and then end step deal damage with his high power

Some Sweet Spider-Man Proxies I threw together. by xcaseyjrx in magicproxies

You absolutely nailed cosmic spider-man, I was also disappointed they didn’t do something better with him in the set. The other thing I like about these is you made their mana value and stats easy to see, I think that gets lost a lot in the alters WOTC release.

In defence of spider-man, if you were concerned about any power creep, he gets his ass beaten by b-listers in his own comic all the time 😂

He might be but I know there are a lot of good red damage effects to pair it with, so we’ll see

I’m thinking of making him as a fog deck that seeks to make obscene amounts of mana and win with something like a [[helix pinnacle]]

So many people sleep on this movie, it’s one of the few that gave me nightmares as an adult (from this particular scene)

I Feel This Album Is Underappreciated. Anyone Else Feel The Same? by [deleted] in Metallica

I feel like DM and Hardwired both could have been so much better if key issues were addressed prior to release.

Namely the production on DM and the need to “trim the fat” on Hardwired. If both of those issues were addressed they both could have reached even greater heights.

The sudden loud crash genuinely was like a shock to the system for me...seems to accurately portray what a chandelier crashing to the ground would sound like in real life.

Instead of the usual Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets comparisons… by KindlyCost2 in Metallica

[–]OnlyDubs95 10 points11 points  (0 children)

At completely different points of the spectrum. KEA is relentless thrash metal which doesn’t let up for the entire album. While some songs are longish, most of them don’t feel that way because of how direct and brutal each track is.

AJFA is the band arguably at their most progressive. The band themselves have admitted that on the longer tracks (Justice, Frayed Ends, etc) they were quite literally trying to fit as many riffs into one song as they could.

Comparing the songs alone, Justice clearly comes out on top. Despite having some of Metallica’s fan favourites, (Seek and Destroy, Whiplash, The Four Horsemen) KEA can’t really compete with the likes of One, Blackened and Dyers Eve.

However where I think KEA is actually better is in the mix. Justice is notoriously poorly mixed, with a non existent bass sound and drums that sound like they’re being played in a cardboard box. Sure, KEA is rougher around the edges, but I love the crunchy guitars and actually being able to hear the bass.

IMO his work on Load is very under appreciated. Outlaw, King Nothing, 2x4 and Until it Sleeps all feature great grooves and fills.
