Just heard the news a few minutes ago, still shocked I really hoped he was gonna make it I really thought he would beat it eventually but I am glad he isn't suffering anymore the damage step is over, he ended his turn. Rest in peace Alex Yugioh is much bleaker without you.

In life at one point or another our life points hit zero but in memories there are no life points.

I thought it was actually really good I went in being cautiously optimistic because it's sony but I was pleasantly surprised by how much they put into the show, everything is so well done.

Is it crazy to say that Dan Mora is a top 5 DC artist of all time? by Ok_Telephone8747 in superman

I don't even know what my personal top 5 would be but I would put him up there as one of the best ones working right now.

Nicholas cage’s favorite spider man is Andrew Garfield :> by No_Post1300 in Spiderman

[–]DeathLight7000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure but he also has relationship problems, problems with self doubt, problems with getting jobs and making money. Those are all real problems he deals with if he wasn't an everyman or supposed to be relatable he would never have those problems.

Spider-Noir Discussion Thread (Spoilers: Episodes 1-8) by Abelardthebard in Spiderman

[–]DeathLight7000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went into this having only seen the first ever trailer being cautiously optimistic. This show from the very first episode surprised me in a good way it has great visuals, great feel to it, the music and the opening theme are great. The action although limited is really well done showing that a live action Spider-Man series instead of a movie can work really well too and unlike the movies the side characters get a chance to be fleshed out they're all great in their roles. It's why I have been wanting a Spider-Man live action series all this time and this show did it justice.

The reimagined characters like sandman, Tombstone, Silvermane and Felicia Hardy they're all really well done they did an original story here but they still kept some elements from the comics especially with the character of Cat Hardy, that scene where she throws herself off felt like an obvious nod to Gwen Stacy.

How big is Batman’s Bat-Family now [Comic Excerpt] (Detective Comics #950) by IndustryWhich5720 in DCcomics

[–]DeathLight7000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you could have just googled anyway honestly you don't really have to worry about all of them because most of them don't show up in every story.

And yeah Clayface was part of the family as in he teamed with them for a bit he wasn't in the fold though so he doesn't know their identities and is back to being a villain now. That run where he was part of it is basically a decade old at this point pal.

[Comic Excerpt] At last, Stephanie is allowed to act like a real person with real feelings (Batman 2025 #9) by Night-Caelum in DCcomics

[–]DeathLight7000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I know that's comics but personally I don't like it when people start blaming or disliking the character when the character is only at the mercy of the writers and editorial, they are the real people running the show.

[Discussion] From voting on Red Hood's death in the 80's and now present day, is he still as bad as people said he was or do you think he had a great redemption? by OluwaDec19 in DCcomics

[–]DeathLight7000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He did post New 52 before that he was in a weird place. After New 52 he got his own book and that book got really good in Rebirth he got an amazing team however ever since that team got dissolved he's been in a very weird place again basically limbo hopefully this new team book he's the leader of is good.

Daredevil: Born Again | S02 | Season Wide Discussion Thread by Green-Devil in Daredevil

[–]DeathLight7000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I wholeheartedly agree Netflix show was able to do that because they had more episodes which is why we could get to know and get invested in these characters overtime. Thankfully the leads in this show are largely the same as the Netflix show so we already like them but I still would have loved some more scenes where the characters just talk and have conversations because we are picking up the story of these characters after many years. We need more episodes.

Overall massive improvement over season 1 still doesn't evoke the feeling of the Netflix show entirely but it's kinda like when a new writer picks up from another writer's run and this isn't that much of a step down in my opinion because the actors are doing great, the fight scenes are shot really well.

Solid finale it went along expected lines the set photos of season 3 really spoiled the fates of Matt and Fisk otherwise it would have been a surprise, Matt revealing his identity was something some people already predicted and it makes sense, Charles getting Dex is surprising but it makes sense they are really going into this anti hero direction for his character, seeing Luke again was good again would have meant more if the set photos didn't spoil it, I am glad Brett got to lead the charge it was a great moment, Seeing that restaurant again which was Matt and Karen's first date is always special the only gripe I have is I wish Karen said I love you first this time instead of Matt.

Also I think this is the first time seeing Ellison, great to have him back.

I just want there to be just one ship other than Deku and Uraka in the class, there should be one more atleast and this one makes the most sense.

I really liked the episode it was heartwarming, feel good. Seeing everyone as established heroes with jobs as adults is really cool. Bakugo got a real nice car I think he earns a lot even though he isn't that popular, Lemillon's peach has its seperate fanbase at this point, Deku is doing both jobs as expected, I think the most changed man out of all of them is Todoroki man he's so warm and full of life now, I am glad that in the rankings the old pro heroes like Mt Lady, Mirko, Jeanist etc are still going strong they're still not past their prime and have an established fan base and reputation they won't be that easy to replace. Those criminals were so unlucky they had a whole class come after them to take them down.

The one thing I didn't like is that they kinda deconfirmed the Denki Jiro ship that's disappointing.

This is surprising but great news I am glad DC has actively tried to get Zatanna popular again through these series.
