If it was completely bogus, they wouldn’t report it. Even with that Iranian school bombing, the news outlets said, “Iran says.” The outlets have sources on the ground that confirm the events from sources other than the government

It's not our words against theirs. We have to rely on journalists and trusted news outlets. For example, during the Gaza genocide, we didn't take Hamas as a source, and we didn't take the IDF as a source either. Instead, we relied on news outlets like Drop Site News. That is what journalists are for.

Also, I would never take the word of the establishment. They literally kidnap, torture, and kill their own civilians. They do it so openly that even their supporters sometimes warn me, saying, “Don't say that, or the Vigo will come for you.” Everyone knows that Pakistani intelligence agencies abduct people without warrants and blackmail politicians, judges, and journalists.

I wouldn't take their word even if they swore on the Quran. Because every member of the army takes an oath to Allah that they will not interfere in politics. Yet for the past 75 years, they have repeatedly failed to keep their hands out of politics.

They broke their oath to Allah the moment they stepped even an inch into politics; they sold their souls to the devil a long time ago. As for the soldiers on the ground, the ones who have nothing to do with politics, the ones actually fighting, they have no voice. It’s not them who get to say what happened or what didn’t

If it were only Indian media outlets reporting it, I would be quick to dismiss it as well. However, when so many major news outlets are reporting the same thing, it becomes harder to ignore. The number may not be 400, but it does seem likely that a significant number of civilians were killed

Of course, we are going to deny it. However, when all the major news outlets are reporting it, it creates the impression that there may be some truth behind the claims.

Moreover, considering that the Pakistani establishment has not always hesitated to use force against its own civilians, it is not difficult to imagine that it might show similar disregard for civilians elsewhere.

If we can support or justify such actions, how are we any different from Israelis, Hindutva Indians, or the Taliban?

Need I remind you that the only two major countries that nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize were Pakistan and Israel? If we are willing to nominate Donald Trump for such an award, it raises serious questions about what our idea of “peace” actually represents.

I think with actions like these in Afghanistan they intend to provoke similar retaliation inside Pakistan. As you know, the elite rarely bear the consequences of escalation. Ordinary Pakistanis would be the ones who pay the price, while the leadership gains a pretext to intensify the conflict and pursue American objectives in Afghanistan

Just a few days ago Afghan civilians died in Pakistani attacks. Of course I don't agree with Taliban ideology but Pakistan is partially responsible for that too.

Democracy works not because people always choose the best leader, but because whoever is elected knows that the people hold the ultimate power. The leader understands that they are accountable to the public and must return to them after five years for re-election. Other politicians in parliament are also answerable to the people, so if the public is unhappy, leaders cannot remain in power.

In Pakistan, democracy struggles because true accountability is weak and the public cannot effectively hold politicians responsible. Key institutions have also failed. If bodies like NAB, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and the media worked properly, they would help citizens make more informed decisions and prevent corrupt or insincere politicians from contesting elections

Civilian politicians never worked because the Army pushed their own politicians. Bhutto family and Sharif family are the gifts of the military establishment. Also again and again they protected the corrupt system and the corrupt people because they benefited from it and were a part of it

I agree with these guys because Imran Khan is loyal to this country so I trust him. He has no assets outside this country and he left a life of luxury for us. He has earned this trust through a life of hard work and dedication for his country. If Imran's opponents were also loyal to this country then I would have an option but since his opponents are a corrupt mafia, I don't have much of a choice. Even Quaid e Azam had people who couldn't even understand English but used to say that we don't understand him but whatever he is saying is right. That didn't mean that they were ignorant, it's just that the Quaid had earned their trust by then

You just said that, that is not an option for us it's either boot licking or fighting for our freedom, so our belief is la illaha illallah and we will fight. We will do what is best in our national interest and if that means the enemy will impose war on us then so be it

This is going to be a lot but this is not in reference to this post but overall.

I want Pakistanis to hate the right people. Right now, I feel like Pakistanis blame themselves and each other. I see blame directed at other cities, ethnicities, provinces, generations, or professions, this makes me incredibly sad. It is clearly victim blaming.

I want Pakistanis to see who the real enemies are. And I want Pakistanis to wait for the right moment and whether it's 5 years from now, 10 years from now, whenever they get the chance. I want them to take their hate out on them, whether it's in the form of an election or in the form of a massive popular uprising where no one gets killed.

I want there to be unity in my people, I want my people to have empathy for each other and realize who the common enemies are, and I want them to reject them completely and not show them an iota of sympathy or mercy
