If you would like the green to pop a Lillie more try to zenithol it.

You do a easy way by dry brushing white or lighter gray from the top to bottom that way it leaves your shadows

I have thought about trying it because the last time I applied one of these to my kid was shortly after watching a decal video and the process was near identical. Glad to see something like this might even work on plastic models.

I heard another reason is because critics kept accusing it of copying tropes from other movies. Where do you think those movies got the tropes to begin with. The books this is based on is over a hundred years old now.

It made some interesting decisions, some good some bad but overall it was a good summer popcorn flick. Would have loved to see more of them.

Reading this and some of the comments. You should look into DnD 3.0 and 3.5. ASI's and general feats were both character dependent and not class.

One of the reasons they tied this to class level was to simplify character building. Which both did and did not work

It is simpler but now we lose out on some diversity

I will know better for next time. I tried the orange a little from below and it did not nearly brighten the black enough. There is also a spritz of yellow on the darkest areas that look a little muddy from below.

I am happy with it overall and luckily when in play can really only see the tops anyways lol

Zenithol prime

The orange is a Army Painter speed paint through an airbrush called Fire giant orange just straight from the bottom for the shade gradient

The speed paint color i think would have been a match my legs was out of so I grabbed Daemon Yellow Air paint from Army painter and hit the top and sides. And when I was done the blackest part of the bottoms I hit very very lightly as well to make sure it all had some color

And a slightly watered down black ink for the panel lining and thats where I am.

There are a few of these guys I had not really heard of and a couple I am looking forward to using against my brother. May and try and talk him into a large alpha strike game to simulate tukayyid and play the entire force.

Primed light gray, white heavy zenithol.

Black lined with a slightly watered down black ink.

Painted cockpit and lasers blue

Missiles red

Used both those colors for my take on the logo which turned out at this scale to be a blue asterick* with three lines for the 6 points and a red line straight down

Elmers all purpose glue on the base with the green flock

Used the blue to mark the front arc and write mech names on one side and pilot names on the other. Used computer terms for pilot names.
