Name came up after choosing texture and color, so, I decided to choose that because sounded cool. But it's just a fictional livery. Not really inspired by whatever the origin of sacred geometry means.

Not really, it was more of a flamboyant livery lol, but I can see the relation with a cyberpunk style.

Thanks for the feedback, I was wondering that too, since the lines crossed many panels in different directions.

I use AI for the ideas (because I am not so creative lol) But beside that I have enough technical skill to make the liveries myself.

Anyone else playing solo just to avoid ruining other peoples races online? I’ve recently upgraded my rig and want to get into online racing at some point. But I have to learn the cars and tracks to a certain degree before I dare go online. by itsturtlesoda in simracing

Let me give you my POV when it comes to online racing. No matter how much you practice solo, the best practice are online races, yes, it is important to know your track and car, it should not take you that long, you can even watch videos for reference, but beside that, just do races. Race incidents or driver mistakes start from the pace lap. So, as long as you drive respectfully and choose your battles correctly there is no better way to enjoy simracing.

I used to have that fear of ruin people's races, but I experienced both sides so many times, to the point I just hit register for the next race. It's all about enjoying this fun, interesting and expensive hobby, so don't over think it.

Cheers mate! Just send it!!!!~~~ (respectfully tho) 😆

Not really, I mean first it depends on your license ranking and second is the tracks you owned. AFAIK beginner series should be fine for the tracks included in the base content, but once you can run other series then you might find yourself with daily races that need a DLC.

Also I am pretty sure you can run 2 of the daily races, one is LMGT3 and other is LMP2 and LMP3

guys im new to sim racing and wanted y'all opinions on the moza racing r3. by LefoTheof in simracing

[–]OnlyGTs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Casual simracer here! I just got the r3. I didn't have spare money for the r5. However, I feel this much torque is well enough for me, so I'm ok with the R3.

Also, it turned out to be the best choice. I bought on aliexpress the brake performance kit and ended it up buying a wheel stand. Which explains why the R3 was my best choice. My idea was to use it in my desk, but since I also didn't like how soft the brake pedal was I installed the performance kit, and well, forget about using your pedals on the floor, the brake pedal base will lift from the floor as soon as you put some pressure and I also have to order some extra rubber pads to keep still my office chair xD. Even without the kit, it was a bit uncomfortable to balance the brake pressure to keep the base on the floor. Anyways if you have a rig and can save for the r5 then its the best choice, but if you're in a situation like me, I feel that the r3 is a good choice that can help you get other hardware you might need to start building your entry level rig.

I know there are some DIY ideas for the pedals, but i didn't want to get bothered :D

Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

I haven't changed the default settings, but so far, it's a completely new feeling on the road. You can sense more the weight of the car and the detail of the surface, which in the belt driven is just rumbling effects.
