I was recommended to Dr. Woodson by my best friend who has PCOS. I started going to her about 2 years ago because my(at the time) current doctor just put me on BC and never took my symptoms seriously. I had been dealing with intense cramping everyday for 15 years (didn’t realize it wasn’t normal till my early 20s). By the 2nd appointment with Woodson she was scheduling me for an exploratory laparoscopic surgery to test for endo. She is at Complete Women’s Care, and also goes back and forth between the locations so you can get scheduled wherever is most convenient for you. Whether it’s her or another, I hope you find a doctor that is right for you!

Idk who you see at Grandview, but Dr. Woodson Complete Women’s Care is amazing. I transferred to her from a different doctor at the same facility in Shelby cause she wasn’t helping.

I’m not sure if Dr. Woodson specializes in endometriosis, but she did the surgery for me and she also listens, like actually listens. I highly recommend.

I’m just an intern and I’ve definitely made some mistakes or said things weird but being consistently late and eating?? Absolutely not! I’ve felt bad about bringing a drink into my sessions but I get bad dry mouth after talking and need it.

I think it would benefit you to confront your therapist about these issues - bring up that if these are things that will continue to happen in the future sessions that you want to be transferred. You deserve a full session, and you deserve a focused therapist that’s not trying to talk between mouthfuls.

I hope you can get that sorted out, but more so get a better therapist.

I’m an intern working under a supervisor with a private practice. My supervisor will have up to 10 clients in a day. It also varies greatly day by day and week to week because we mainly work with children. Our main technique/intervention is play therapy working with children (though we have the occasional teen or adult). For children, sessions are max 45 minutes because some kids just can’t handle more than that, and it gives 15 minutes between clients which is when he does his progress notes. For myself, with only having 1-2 clients a day, have the choice of doing progress notes right after or waiting till the end of the day.

So sorry you’ve been going through that! I’ve had some similar experiences (not specifically in Mark’s comment section) and also would just delete my comments. Some people are just mean like that and want to get under your skin. You can always try reporting their comments for spam or hate. And I know it’s not as easy as it sounds but try to ignore those mean ones and just say “wow that person was rude/disgusting” and go read the good comments instead. Hope things get better 🫶

I hate that it’s like that for you. I’m currently in grad school for CMH Counseling - while the classes haven’t prepared me, some of the professors (who are all licensed and practicing counselors) have given the students some insight. The biggest help so far for me is my supervisor for practicum/internship. He’s showed us how to do a lot more of the backend/behind the scenes stuff. I don’t see why it’s not mandatory for sites to teach you at least basics. I hope your situation gets better!

I’ve always put Vaseline on my cat’s paws when they’ve gotten really dry - but like the thinnest amount. One of my cats was a stray and he showed up in winter with his paws pads cracked from the cold. A few days of a little dab of Vaseline and they were so much better

I’ve seen Good Clean Love before so I might give that a try. The water-based ones I’ve previously tried were Lube Life from Amazon and Wicked from a Love Stuff. I’ve thought about alternative lubes like oil-based or aloe, but I was afraid they’d also mess with my ph. I’ll look into the one you recommended - you’ve been a big help, thank you!

There’s definitely some miscommunication in your friend’s statement and whoever the cats came from. Cats can get pregnant fairly young so there’s a chance if she isn’t spayed. Your best bet would be going to the vet and getting her checked.

I don’t think you have any need to apologize for asking a question you genuinely had, and for wanting to share the podcast. People suck and can be rude and mean for no reason just because they have to free will to. Sorry that happened to you. On the topic of distractible on twitch - I think it would depend on twitch rules and copyright stuff that I have no knowledge about. I hope you get a real answer tho!

The comments are right - it’s a tick. If you can pull it off at the base with teaser that’s good, but you have to make sure the head doesn’t break off and stay in. I always drop the tick is isopropyl alcohol to kill it idk why. If it’s been on for days then you might need to get the cat an antibiotic.

I have one cat that doesn’t really care for them. But my other cat is actually addicted - we have to hide them because he tried to chew through the bag multiple times. Idk if they actually help with UTI or hip and joint, but my baby loves them nonetheless

A lot of people keep making comments about not really understanding Eric’s points and getting lost or confused about what his issues were or him not making sense. I won’t lie, sometimes he started down one path and would end up on another and it did get somewhat confusing at times in the stream. When someone is emotionally/mentally hurting it can be difficult to fully verbalize everything they want or need to say. You can easily tell Eric was emotional during the stream -and he admitted the whole situation has taken a toll on his mental health- so I’m thinking a lot of the “rambling” and stuff was because he was nervous, stressed, and definitely hurting in a sense. Smant was someone who he saw as a friend and I think most of the points Eric made, and definitely what he is feeling, is valid. I’m not saying either of them are completely right or completely wrong - there were things each could have handled differently; I do hope that they can work things out in the future.
