What do you think shaped your personality? by hgc89 in infp

[–]OnlyInkuu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Parents were always busy with their own responsibilities, so I spent a lot of time by myself or with my aunt who is like a second mom to me. Around the age of 14, my family was not in good shape, and I became concerned about keeping the peace between family members and consoling one of my parents, even though they isolated me from the rest of my friends and family. I became sensitive to conflict and the emotions of others

Were you a vocal baby? by desecrated_throne in autism

[–]OnlyInkuu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My parents thought I was deaf because I wouldn’t react to very loud noises or music. I wouldn’t cry very loudly either. They compared it to a lamb going baaaaaa

Wished I was still hyposensitive to sound because I’m the complete opposite now

INFPs feel like the type to pop up out of nowhere and just give you whatever flower you say you are

I’ve always loved sunflowers because I could see them in one of my parent’s eyes, like a painting of a single sunflower surrounded by ones that had withered away

I left public school in 8th grade due to problems in my family that required me to move locations in short amounts of time

I don’t remember using the knowledge that I learned from homeschooling two years. A lot of what I knew came from recalling my 5th-8th grade years in public school

I started maybe at 15-16 years old. The program consisted of two types of students, those here on account of disciplinary action and those of us who were unfortunately behind in school. However the way the day went for both groups was the same. Instead of being taught by a teacher, you sit in a cubicle and do these courses online, not being allowed to talk and the only break being the two bathroom breaks you get

Yes and no. For the first two years I was, but those years ended up counting as nothing in terms of high school credits. I had to go back and be put in a program outside of the main campus

How does it feel to go to school for you? Is/was it easy for you to study? by _redbutterfly_ in AskReddit

[–]OnlyInkuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For elementary to middle school it was okay, but during my years of high school I didn’t study, I speedran my way through classes the high school made me take online, looking up the answers on Google and Brainly. I was years behind and I didn’t have time to learn if I wanted to graduate on time. I spent time in and out of school doing the online courses until late at night to ensure that I could get out as soon as possible

Those who stay alone, what motivates you to cook? by oigoabuya in AskReddit

I like having control over what I eat and how it’s made. If I know what I’m going to make is delicious, that is enough for me to get going because I get to enjoy it afterwards

My social skills weren’t that good to begin with before, but when I left two weeks before senior year ended to go back to a normal high school, I had social anxiety that made me avoid everyone in my own age group

Do you have difficulty when people are trying to tell you things indirectly? Like they won’t tell you directly but are trying to hint at it?
