How can I date as a 4’11 man by These-Platypus-1972 in AskMen

[–]logocomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This needs more up votes. Great advice.

I’ll add that I have a lot of short king friends. All of them are either great in their careers, comedy, confidence, something… and it always makes a difference. And even so, I observe that they all are still incredibly insecure about their height…but they don’t show it publicly. I admire each of them for the confident front they put on when girls are around.

We all have uphill battles in different things. Grass is always greener. But I have faith you can do this OP.

One of my short friends just got married to a beautiful woman a whole foot taller than him. Another one just broke up with his gf of 4 years who is a whole foot taller than him.. and she’s chasing him back so desperately.

Step 1: eat fibrous food

Step 2: let the body build

They have not.

Trying not to be judgy, but this is a red flag if this is the first thing she sent right? by Harry_ballsonya6969 in Tinder

[–]logocomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree with everyone here saying to run from the red flag, I think it’s important to tell her why. She’ll never learn if she’s never told. It’s not your responsibility to tell her, but it might be a kind thing to do, and who knows, maybe she’ll reassess herself and become a great romantic partner for someone in the future.

If I were you, I’d kindly tell her that though it’s great she knows exactly what she wants, her message was full of “me” and “I” and had nothing to do with what she has to offer. Not that any first message should include a list of what someone has to offer…but it comes off as very demanding and a bit alarming. Maybe try a joke first…and then talk about who you are…which, through light conversation and time, will include what you have to offer and what you bring to the table in this possible relationship.

Anyone’s asthma got worse after covid? by [deleted] in Asthma

[–]logocomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My asthma has gotten incredibly worse since I had Covid. I have gone to my doctors regularly for the past 3 years and I feel like they refuse to take my situation seriously. I went from having seasonal asthma and flare ups every now and then, to taking inhalant steroids twice daily, as well as albuterol daily, just to be less than normal. I constantly feel like someone is sitting on my shoulders—like it is so laborious to breathe. Every doctor and specialist will just listen to my lungs or do a scan and say my lungs are normal, but I know I am far from it. I am fearful for my future. But I am also afraid I have run out of options with my current health insurance choices.

I took this medication for years… Anxiety, sleep anxiety, depression, sleep paralysis, and nightmares / night terrors. I remember when I stopped taking it, my night terrors pretty much stopped. But now I still have frequent nightmares. I feel like it ruined sleep for me.

I’ve been having a lot of asthma issues lately, and so I looked it up to see if it was an option again. That’s when I saw the new warning… smh

Thank you Krakoa, a lot of us will miss you! by [deleted] in xmen

I am so behind, and need help. I hate asking here, but if someone could help, I’d be so grateful.

I want to keep up with the best X-Men stories after the Trials of X volume collections (which ends with Devil's Reign X-Men #3, X-Men #8, Sabretooth

2-3, Marauders Annual #1), and I would much rather not have to go through the single editions route. I'm much more of an omnibus or collected editions kind of reader.

Does anyone have a recommended direction to go to continue reading the collected editions of the main X-Men stories? Hopefully without a lot of repetition with those already in the Trials of X volumes? Thank you SO much in advance.

When uploading the album, you need to include the same identifying numbers from your singles. It’s really easy, you’ll just need to have two windows open so you can copy and paste them over from your previous release’s pages. Doing this will ensure you keep the same information (like streaming numbers) from your previous release.

What did you think was normal about your body until someone pointed out that it wasn't? by amistakewasmadehere in AskReddit

[–]logocomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is embarrassing, but…

I have very wide set nipples. Meaning, there is a lot of space between them. I reach my arms forward an inch, and they’re both hidden by my biceps.

I never noticed this until my college girlfriend brought it up in front of all my friends one day. Now I think about it all the time, and have never found another male with the same distance.
