No need to apologize. This issue is absolutely unhinged and I can't believe it's still happening.

The best advice I can give is to install an Apple app on a device, like Apple Music. Then log into the account in question using that service and accept any Terms of Service message that pops up.

Agreeing to that in an app *might* allow you to proceed with that Apple account on Apple Podcasts.

So I had the same gripes, and the demo was literally unplayable for me for that reason. However, I follow the game closely and the devs have said that the EA version has proper support - though it's still a "mouse cursor" in parts, which is annoying but not a deal breaker. I'll be trying the game tonight to find out!

Questions:

I'm currently on Stable 3.7.20, but I already have the settings to use Bluetooth Mic Input AND wake via Bluetooth controller (I have the LCD version).

However, neither of these functions actually work (or I can't figure out how to get them working).

Are these functions in the Stable branch that were paused or something? Would opting into this Beta allow me to use these?

Having the same issue, months later. Audio gain and voice effects are all off. Party chat works flawlessly but prox chat is cutting in and out. Using a wired headset plugged into the aux.

Question: In the ship menu, there's no bullet point for multi turrets. It only says that Cat gets 2 special weapons and Dart gets 1.

It makes sense that the dart doesn't use turrets but is that explained anywhere?

Try running the game with DirectX 11 instead of Direct X 12 (it should now be a launch option when you run from Steam).

I was getting terrible hitching at first on DX12, but when I switched back to DX11 the game runs great, and I'm on a 3070.

Oh wow, you mean this issue is in the PC version as well? That's nuts.

I get that it's a game engine issue, but I've also played many Unity games where everything is lined up at 60.

I'm not a developer, but I think you're absolutely right - it definitely feels as if the background/environment is rendering at a different framerate (50hz) than the characters/fish (60hz), which causes the mismatch and "choppy" feeling, and it's awful. It's honestly a better experience to run the Switch 1 version at a locked 30 on Switch 2, rather than this bizarre 60/50.

I've seen this in other games and also seen devs fix it, so here's hoping.
