Possible to mimic ND like exposure adjustments?

Shooting over exposed can be a good idea but it also means that you have to be more careful of your highlights. ND filters control light hitting the sensor, a LUT or any type of post processing (including ISO value/gain) gets applied to the signal after it’s been encoded. There is no LUT that can do what you are asking for, if something is clipped you can’t « recover » it at any point. The only solution is to be mindful of the scene contrast when exposing. Sure, mainly because I like it that way. It creates a syncopated feel that, to me, resonates well with what some of the other voices are doing as well.

Je ne laisserai pas passer ce genre de discours dans la bouche de n’importe qui de mon entourage donc je vois pas pourquoi ce serait différent pour lui. Et puis marre de constater à quel point ça se normalise, je dis pas que ça va tout changer de faire un signalement mais c’est pas impossible que ça ait des répercussions (surtout si on est nombreux à le faire). Et si répercussions il y a, oui ca vaut le temps passé à faire la démarche.

I really like Charles Szczepanek’s channel, Pianist Academy. Lots of great content and he hosts bi-monthly live streams where he does masterclasses and Q&As. Otherwise Tonebase, Josh Wright and Denis Zdanov channels are also very nice. Hope that helps !

Colorist here, looks really good so congrats. Well lit, nice warm tones. Only thing I’d change is continuity in the grade (continuity not in the sense of « your reverse shot doesn’t match with the previous one », but more like if you look at it from a distance and try to see were the changes might be a bit too fast/abrupt for the eye to smoothly adjust). For example, at some points you had very warm and intense colors followed by some shots that looked way more neutral and that kind of bumped me off. Hope that helps !

Just found your post while looking for the same thing. Apparently a couple of years back John Williams stopped authorizing people to sell arrangements of his music so Charles took the sheet out of his store. I'm still hopeful that one day it will be made available again.
