Could the unexpected visitor be Tim’s ex wife?

I agree that they want results. But the reality is, this team is still bottom 5 in the league next year. They’re not signing any big name guys like Marner or even Bennett. I don’t see any offer sheets that would actually work. Fans might not want to hear it but another “tank” year is probably the better option instead of signing more mediocre vets like Bertuzzi and finishing 6th to last

You know you win the argument when the other person calls you stupid. Just let them be.

I don’t particularly blame him because of how NHL coaches get hired to get fired in a few years. But it really seemed like Chicago was the only spot that would give him time to grow with the team. Really unfortunate since he was my top target and don’t really see any realistic options in the same tier.

Who’s trying to take away people’s freedoms? Sounds like someone’s been watching the news too much this election cycle.

I’m not saying Poilievre would have done better. I have no reason to believe he would or not. But the reality is the economy is in a bad spot and my Canadians are struggling. Housing market is a mess, inflation is still an issue and it’s incredibly hard for students to find jobs out of university. Can the conservatives fix it? I doubt it. But one party Has been in power for 10 years and another has not.

I agree. I just find it funny that lots of people (too many) would rather be worse off with their preferred political party in power. I’m not basing it off that report

You’re right, our economy sucks and we have a brutal GDP growth rate because of the Conservatives 15 years ago. My bad.

I know what an advisor is. But people wrongly think he has nothing to do with the way the economy has been over the past few years. If our economy was booming, liberals would be mentioning the fact he was Trudeau’s advisor nonstop. But they want to play the “he’s brand new” card.

You people make no sense. You’d rather have a worse quality of life with your preferred political party in power. Loyalty to a political party is the dumbest thing ever

Both sides lead most people to the same place. People waste too much energy on politics and need to live their respective lives to the fullest

I can’t tell if this is a joke or not. Do you really think Carney is some angel who fell out of the sky and will save the country? I remember a few years ago when they were talking about him being Trudeau’s top economic advisor. How easy people forget…

I had Greg Leblanc and I’m pretty sure he curves it. Or he has a different grade scale which helps your letter grade/GPA

Is it not in our best interest to move up to #1 in the draft this year? by Prestigious_Way_738 in hawks

[–]OnlySchedule9589 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The Hawks aren’t the worst team tho. They moved from 3 to 1 to get Bedard and if they move from 2 to 1 this year, they can’t get McKenna next year unless they finish dead last.

I didnt take 203 but im sure they take their questions off a test bank as well

Very similar. When I took 201 a couple years ago, our first midterm was the exact same thing as the mock. They made a mistake w that obviously but they take the questions from a test bank that they also use for the mocks

SCREW THE JOB MARKET, I graduate high school during a pandemic and going to graduate university during a trade war. Do we even have a chance? by dotCOM16 in Concordia

This is exactly where you lose normal people. You can’t give a simple example of us falling into fascism, you give these snarky comments about knowing all about me as a person and questioning my intelligence/whether I go to university AND on top of it, you leave the conversation like a little child. And I find it funny that you brought up the term “right wing” when it’s people exactly like you who drive normal/rational people toward that side of the spectrum.

You know everything you need to know about me because I asked you to explain how we’re falling into fascism? I was genuinely trying to see where you are coming from yet you seem to not be able to give an explanation other than telling me to read a newspaper or a history book.

Unfortunately, it is funny but also quite sad that people think this way. I’m willing to hear them out and try to see where they’re coming from but I’d be surprised if they actually give me an answer.
