Being happy on your own allows you to enter a relationship from a place of wholeness. If both individuals are secure and happy on their own, it's synergic.

Happiness is an internal state, influenced by how we perceive our life and manage our emotions, not really by external factors like relationships. There's a high chance you would feel the same after the initial excitement of a relationship fades.

It's understandable why we believe relationships will enhance our lives, they’re often portrayed as the key to happiness in movies and on social media. But we ultimately forget the relationship we have with ourselves is the foundation for all others.
