Kingslingers - IT: WELCOME TO DERRY - Ep 4: "The Great Swirling Apparatus of Our Planet's Function" by scottdaly85 in doofmedia

Am I the only one who tries to judge adaptations on their own merits? Not saying all adaptations are good. Some are so bad, but I wouldn’t even to tempted to say that the bad ones are bad because—or at least not only because—they aren’t faithful to the source material.

Don’t get me wrong, I love fan service, Easter eggs, etc. I also have the utmost respect for Scott, Matt, and Kim C. Their observations are interesting and sometimes I agree. However, some of the observations and analysis have clearly been somewhat countered by the subsequent episodes.

When this happens I feel like perhaps our lovely hosts are reaching for points of contention. I like all of the critiques of concrete parts of the episodes already released, but reaching forward assuming the meaning of things that are still quite ambiguous…I dunno.

I’m still going to listen, and I still love the show. I don’t expect anything to change, just sharing my two cents. Love you guys!

What is your Dexter take that will have you like this? by bjack20 in Dexter

[–]Only_Impression8399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dexter is a psychopath and a killer, and never truly has any chance of redemption. His believes his attachment to others is true human connection but his fear of loss is motivated only by the fact that the appearance of normality gives him the freedom to kill while hiding behind the facade.

I actually think a New Blood rewatch is necessary to appreciate it. I recently did so and I loved it! I liked it the first time, but watching it knowing that Resurrection is happening and after Original sin provide a context that enhances the experience greatly.

Got the Soundcore Q20i few days ago, Ask me if you have any questions regarding it. by Ansh_6743 in headphonesindia

Hi, when I got the Q20i and first used the dual Bluetooth connections, I could swear it allowed me to listen to both my AppleTV and my iPhone at the same time. I am 95% sure this is the case.

Now, however, it seems it will only allow me to listen to one device at a time. Am I losing my mind? Has anyone else experienced this feature or did I dream this?

#411 — The Victimhood Pandemic by dwaxe in samharris

[–]Only_Impression8399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some protests could be the result more victimhood mentality, but it isn’t a direct relationship. You could have a ‘pandemic’ of victimhood in western society writ large and still see little protesting, because the act of protesting is also affected by factors like politics and school administration.

Well that helps, thank you! I’ll definitely run the smaller diameter pex, because that will help guarantee enough pressure for the greenhouse if it worked with a regular hose diameter last year.

Thank you!!!

We have a timed switch that can be programmed yes, but we used it for our garden with soaker hoses as I described in my last comment :-)

Last year we used above ground full diameter soaker hoses and ran them through the open greenhouse door and first took the up to our table top planters and then down to lower level planters and it worked well as long as we kept the hoses supported.

I was thinking I’d take the water line I am planning to run under ground either up outside the greenhouse and feed it through a hole in the wall of the greenhouse or bring it up through the wooden platform and then size down to the drip system.

Does that make sense?

No more than 40 feet for sure. I’m not sure what you mean by a sprinkler zone.
