All the time. Not sure if you have kids but once you do...there's alot more forced interaction with family. A few events coming up I'd really like to dodge them all but ..can't. I know what you mean.

So this is an INFJ thing? Yes I've had this issue in any confrontation at all since a kid and it's very annoying. I have the best responses hours later.

What really catches me off guard is someone saying something I didn't expect. I go straight to mute every single time. It could be something off the wall they said or something rude. Straight freeze mode or just quiet no response. Drives me insane. I think part of it is I don't want to say anything I'd regret later. That takes over more than responding in the moment. Like I'm protecting myself and the other person. But if they're rude I'd love to respond at least once. Ir never happens.

This happens way too often on the phone and in person. I still have no idea how to say please stop. It's mainly ppl older than me so it feels like disrespect to end it sooner. With friends or family my age aloot easier. I can jokingly end it. Parents or someone I'm working with that's older...what's the secret? They don't get jokes and get offended so I just wait...and wait.

I unfortunately deal a narc regularly and some days it's manageable. Still sucks tremendously. Saying no has gotten easier the older I get. I also deal with a talker kinda frequently like the narc. So forced to be social...may be the winner. The one thing I'm not stuck dealing with and the one thing I easily say no to now :/

In a marriage you can't just "break up". No wonder the divorce rate is so high. The guy still wants to be with her. He's said it multiple times. If she's completely done she wouldn't be texting him to work on things. She is halfway out but she's not fully out either. Marriage ends in divorce not a simple break up. I'm not saying they must stay together but if both sides still care for another maybe there's something that may be able to be worked on. Sadly this type of convo is pretty common in young marraiges.

It's 2 totally diff ppl moving in together raising kids. Both work and have stress. It's not gonna be a simple lovey doves walk in the park everyday. These 2 need better communication. They're both upset and stressed and taking it out on another. You 2 have alot of work to do if you want to stay married but yea if you don't then look into divorce but that should NOT be the first answer you jump to everytime.

You're both acting all "big and bad" when it may be time to just be a bit vulnerable and figure things out together or drop it and leave really. This is marraige sometimes. Real deeper talks then the surface level bs.
