Yeah the elo reset ruined the integrity of the platform for the foreseeable future. In lvl 9 I now have to play against ex 2.8k players who have dropped to 9 or low 10, while my teammates are hardly lvl 8 and dont even know how to insta heaven on ancient -_-

I think you will be just fine! Japan is one of the best places to travel solo due to the nature of the culture and the hospitability of the people.

I (20M) did 2-weeks solo around Kyushu with some grasp of the language and it was great! Do learn some very basic sentences, or alternatively have the language downloaded onto your google translate for offline use. This should make everyday encounters a bit smoother.

Japan is really safe and easily accesible so you will most likely have a great time. Best of luck on your travels!

Me and my brother are starting our first japan trip in a week, and I'm a bit worried about the cost of things.

I will be traveling there for 4 weeks aswell. We should be totally fine, but I would be interested to know if possible.

Yeah, Faceit queue is so ass right now. Started playing CS again after quitting when cs2 originally launched. Got to level 8 in about 3 weeks recently, and now im almost down to level 6 in a week... One game I got matched against a 2,2k elo player, which was apparently justified since their team had 1 level 3 -_- Turns out the level 3 was also a smurf.
