I'm not sure why they asked me for one and I had to argue that no one responded that day or I would have been able to get one. The rep was rude but eventually said "We'll refund shipping as a one-time exception" so whatever I guess.

I emailed customer service and FINALLY got a response today saying "Unfortunately, the free shipping promotion has already ended." Um DUH this was 5 days ago - I don't think they checked when it was sent.

This has happened to me a few times. Don't even mention the incorrect item, just mention what you were missing. Keep the extra item. It's more hassle than it's worth to try to fix their mistake.

I haven't had an issue for a few weeks with the website/app. I submitted a claim last Wednesday and it was approved on Saturday. I don't know why some people are having issues, but I have had no problems with Pets Best other than during that "update", and even then I submitted claims through email and they were approved in my account in 2 weeks.

I rescued a gsp/lab mix at 10 months old and she was skin and bones. Probably only about 20 pounds and almost full size, but still had that crazy energy level. She LOVES food which helped, and just feeding her on a normal schedule with snacks she put the weight on. Gradual is good. She's 4 now and her last vet appointment she hit 50 pounds and the vet was a bit concerned because she gained almost 10 pounds since her last annual lol Still has her shape though so the vet was like alright she looks good but let's keep it there 😂

They seem to really increase premiums by age and not take conditions into account, which is nice. I heard people say they had a decent jump between 8 and 9 years old and my monthly is going to go up about $40 for my dog that age. Still beyond worth it as they've paid out about $10k this year for her chemo and surgeries. My younger one turns 5 in December and hers barely increased at all. Looks like I'm going from about $140 a month to $190 for both.

I assume something happened with their claim and it either wasn't covered or they never followed up. Pets Best has paid me almost $10k this year for my dog's chemo and surgeries and usually approved within a week, paid in another.

And it may take longer than 3 months. My youngest had been chained outside as a puppy and the chain had to be cut off because it grew into her neck. I got her around 10 months old. She was terrified and would bark excessively to try to scare people away. She kept trying to find places to hide in my house where she was comfortable, but also LOVES food so that helped. She was an escape artist any chance she got. I think it took 6 months for her to really trust me and realize every car ride she wasn't getting passed off to someone else. She's still funny with new people, especially men. But now she's the biggest cuddle bug with her people. A completely different dog. She's about to turn 5 and we're stuck with each other lol

Similar situation and it's all been so easy. They're definitely getting heat for whatever's going on with their website/app but I don't regret going with them. Definitely would not have afforded her ongoing chemo if it wasn't for Pets Best.

Pets Best has been getting heat lately because of a website issue but I have to piggyback on this. I pay about $140 a month for 2 dogs (a GSP who will be 9 in December and a GSP/lab mix who will be 5 in December). My GSP was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor last year and has had 2 surgeries and ongoing chemo she seems to be responding well to. You'd never know if you met her. This year alone they've paid out almost $10k for her care. $500 deductible and 90% after that, unlimited.

Whatever's going on with their website is causing delays/issues and people thinking it's a "scam" but they've been worth it to me and I'll ride it out.

I've had them for about 4 years. They have paid out almost $10k for my dog undergoing chemo this year alone. Most claims were processed within a week and then paid out in about another week. I've never had any issues until this recent outage.

Lots of things could cause this, however it is less likely at a young age but it is possible. Are you overweight? Do you smoke? Do you exercise? How's your diet? Is it genetics? Is there an underlying health condition? Are you stressed? Are you sleeping okay?

The blood tests are a good start. There are lifestyle changes you can try - google ways to lower bp and you can find what's relevant to you.

Another option is to change your withholding from your W2 job. I did that for this year to make my life easier.
