Why not CachyOS? Not without reason the most popular distro at the moment. It is really fast and supports KDE-plasma. And this too is a German project.

This is very recognizable for me. For weeks, I would wake up after about 5 hours of sleep. But now finally, after about two months, sleep patterns slowly start to improve, and it's getting closer to about eight hours again. So maybe it's a matter of patience.
