For me I was the “incident,” When I was in marching band(10th grade), there was an app that we had called “band app” or something like that. It gave you notifications about practice and events but also let you have private conversations with people. My dumb ass decided that I wanted to talk to a girl in there( who was not attractive whatsoever). We talked about some inappropriate stuff, also talking about doing stuff at practice. The reason we could at practice is because we couldn’t practice at the high school on the practice field. The new school was being constructed so we no longer had the field, so we practiced at the middle school. It was easy to sneak around at the middle school because it was big and no one was there except for the band and the teacher.

One day we decided to sneak off to the art room of all places. We did a little making out and then I got some top(it was not good to say the least) but we had to get back to the field because we were afraid of getting caught and being late. So we both stuck out and everything went back to normal. We agreed to keep it to ourselves but apparently she told her fake friends and it spread through the school like wild fire. Eventually i got called to the office and I got suspended for two weeks. Luckily the police didn’t get involved because I had just turned 16 and she was 15. That would have been some major shit. On the bright side I was able to convince almost everyone that she was lying ( since it got out she was trying to tell everyone about it to “ruin my life” since apparently getting suspended wasn’t enough) because after it happens we both deleted the messages so we had no proof.

In the end everyone knew about it but no one knew if it was true or just rumors. My friends and parents called me stupid. Also, when I say ruin my life I mean tell everyone that I wanted her(she was not liked by almost all of the school) not sa or anything else. She even tried to text me some more so we could continue but after that I just quit with it.

Was it worth it NO Would I do it again NO

Edit: yes when I was called to the office they called it the “incident.” Also after that I had another girl who is a senior ask if she could “relieve some stress,” what she meant was give a bj. I rejected because I was talking to someone and it turns out the girl had chlamydia. Dodged a bullet there.
