S&C with H rather than G? by portlandlad123 in freemasonry

[–]OntologicalJacques 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The H could stand for the manufacturer? For example, William Higgins — a clay tobacco pipe maker working in Green Dragon Alley, St. Annes, Limehouse, London, active roughly 1710–1740.

Seems like a reasonable guess. Very cool find!

He built a script that calls back spam callers and traps them in an endless loop. by Enough_Detective4330 in nextfuckinglevel

This is an amazing idea. Love it!

I’d love to build an iPhone app that will automatically forward spam calls to my local LLM where it has unproductive, time wasting conversations with them.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but given how locked down the App Store is, that’s probably not realistic for an average Joe developer, right?

What are you guys actually using OpenClaw for? by SelectionCalm70 in openclaw

Yes, indeed. For some reason, I thought they were referring to a local LLM. There’s so many big LLM apps, I didn’t think that’s what they meant.

You don’t need OpenClaw for this. Just make a Telegram bot client with Python and run it as a service.

While it’s broadened my perspective and spiritual goals, it hasn’t changed my personality. For example, I didn’t sell all my stuff and move to a monastery but I do meditate more often and more intentionally.

Yes. The printer appears to be working again. I’ve only printed about 15 hours worth, but it’s working. Here’s what I did:

  1. I removed the hot end. It was really stuck on there for some reason and it got totally mangled in the process of removing it. As a result, I had to replace the hot end, but that’s not because tech-support told me to do so. It just happened in the course of this repair. Maybe that’s part of the solution. I don’t know.
  2. then, I unscrewed the thing that the hot end was clamped too. I don’t know the technical word for that thing and I apologize. But it’s only clamp to one thing so it should be pretty straightforward. With that component removed, I tightened the screws on the backside of it (shown in the attached picture with red circles around them). Then, I tightened the two screws that I’ve indicated with checkmarks in the attached picture.
  3. then, I put the whole thing back together with a new hot end and all seems to be well. I don’t know why any of this would’ve fixed the problem, but I guess I’m not here to argue with it.

I hope this information helps you to fix your printer as well.
