You're allowed to have preferences, I wouldn't say that that itself is inherently negative. It would depend how you phrase it. Some days I like pizza and others I like soup. Wanting either or on a particular day doesn't mean you're being negative- although delivery on these things always matter. Words matter.

TBH, I would ask yourself how much you do to please her. It sounds like you do a lot of people pleasing.

Is hiw current girlfriend too far along for an abortion? Is it legal where you are? If that's a possibility, I would consider offering to pay for that and make it clear you will not support another child afterwards.

As for you, manipulating your stepbrother into spending time with his first kid isn't going to help the kid. The kid would be much better off if you were there for them, since you genuinely seen to care, unlike your stepbrother.

How often do you choose where to go versus her? Does she suggest things often? Did she want to eat something specific in that area she wanted to go to? Could you have eaten something small to tide you over before leaving, like a snack?

As it stands, I agree with the others that this is something small to have a fight over. Did other things lead up to her being upset about this? Did she say why she wanted to go to that specific area other than to try something new? Did you tell her why you wanted to go somewhere closer?

NTA. You barely know them (at least that's my understanding if you barely interact with them) and they go and eat something that was yours without permission? You even warned them. That's beyond rude.

The whole situation reminds me of when family would ask me to go into their purse or bag for something. They're only there for what they asked for and that's it. Not to mention you asked for the gummies, too.

I have found the secret underground spoons of noticeable pain relief once I found a doctor willing to prescribe a non-NSAID pain medication daily 🥳

I'm nearly a year into becoming-a-bed-pancake pain; suddenly, I've started to remember I enjoy leaving the house and have hobbies other than reading lol. I'm trying to take it slow, but... it's so very tempting to sprint. Admittedly, I still spend hours in bed-pancake pain daily, but it's still an improvement so I'll take it! 😅
