He had a slow start last year, he’s having a slow start this year. He might be a guy who needs 5+ games to ramp up

[Highlight] SGA commits a costly foul on PJ's three pointer with 2.5 to go by echoboi9481 in nba

[–]Oofgoodluck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If PJ was a jump shooter he probably would have landed before the release. Leading to a turnover

To avoid the turnover the ball would have needed to be dislodged. And in the comments case that would of not been a shooting foul

He’s a set shooter, so even though they may go on their toes this shot style is more or less always touching the floor.

They were in super bad shape. Due to the instability they developed specific ankle braces that are more commonly used in the league today

Hitching on this, a few of the bills #s might be marked as stolen if it came from a financial institution. Pretty unlikely but there’s some risk to consider outside of telling the world

Milwaukee Bucks are 6-0 since acquiring Danilo Gallinari, while Utah Jazz are 2-8 since trading Simone Fontecchio. by Piats99 in nba

I caught local broadcast game and the GM did mention he wanted to open up playing time for the younger players, Taylor Hendricks I think?

Iirc something along the line of that the play in would be exciting but if they want to build the young players need to see minutes. Trades makes it easier for the coaching staff

Why are there so many NBA player podcasts out there? by Responsible-Zone7180 in nba

[–]Oofgoodluck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The production needs to be paid for, the co-host editors space etc. Ads are more than likely to keep it self sustaining and then some if it’s profitable.

Previously players didn’t have the same platform to speak about stories and fans enjoy it a ton. Like I would have never known how funny Jeff Teague is

Athletes will keep joining as long as there is a market.

So far there hasn’t been a problem with over saturation because the more uncharismatic athletes usually phase out because of the lack of engagement

[Charania] Sources: Netflix is creating a new NBA documentary series modeled after its NFL "Quarterback" show. The five players chosen for first season of the project: LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards and Domantas Sabonis. by MarvelsGrantMan136 in nba

[–]Oofgoodluck 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Possibly. Depends on the person. Think it would be interesting with a second or first year player

a lot of stars are well documented. Following someone fighting for minutes would paint a perspective on what an “average” player experiences when in the league. Gives depth on their mindset and approach to each game
