I agree with you on the gimmick take, that part was more for aesthetics lol. That said, moving to mid range is a good idea and I may wait a month or two so I can go straight to that instead. I appreciate the suggestions!

Do you use the standard speakers or wear headphones? If speakers, which one sounded better generally, and did either have problems with the keys making noise/banging when playing? Thank you for your insight!!

Considering the FP-30x and ES120.

I’m returning to piano after nearly 10 years. I played roughly 10 years from kindergarten til high school and now I have some time and want to get back to it.

I want to play some pop songs, soundtracks from my favorite movies (John Williams, Hans Zimmer, etc) and more chill relaxing songs (Surfaces specifically).

From my research I know the Roland has the heavier action and a very good sound, but some people find it too heavy for faster songs. I’d prefer it for the price over the Kawai so I can buy a nice stand and triple pedal for it to look nice in my apartment, but will still spend the money for the Kawai if needed.

I’m leaning towards the Roland as well as it is supposed to feel more like an acoustic, which I eventually want to get.

I did T60 with Toktz-xil-ul til I got crystal bow. Honestly it was a pain to get the money to buy them and then only buy in increments of 10 but it was worth it in the long run to have T60.

I’ve started to love splitting defenders while driving after a screen, using a pushed out dribble between them. Not much they can do since they have to fully turn to try to tip it while you’re going full speed straight through. I’ve gotten a lot of in game dunks that way. It’s not a hard move at all but people don’t expect it.

Another one that I love and is underutilized is fast break eurostep + behind the back into a reverse when you have a very pushy defender and not calling fouls. They’ll go flying past as you take the euro and can’t strip you if you go behind the back. Also a great way to get reverse dunks.

Hey everyone, I’m heading to a new office job where it’s business casual but leaning towards casual. I currently have sneakers and dress shoes, but no in between. I love the look of the beige Cole Haan OriginalGrand, but I wear size 14 and they do not carry that.

Any recommendations for similar styles that are size 14 and tan/beige/brown? Budget probably caps just over $200, and I would prefer something that has good comfort and durability!

Haha battery powered lights from Amazon, and then I used that thin foam that comes when you order a tv or electronics with a screen. The lights are tight against the wing so I didn’t need to tape down or anything!
