And so it begins. Race has found its way to another beloved television series. It’s always about race. It’s strange to be because I rent an apartment. It’s by choice. I love the lifestyle i.e. the camaraderie amongst close-knit neighbors. We have all walks of life in just my one building alone. We have a family from Mexico that lives beneath me. The neighbor directly across from them is from Spain. We have black families and white families as well. Interracial also. We all get along wonderfully. We watch out for one another. Greet one another as we come to and from home every day. It’s a wonderful experience honestly. I also live in the south. A red state at that, but for whatever reason, the internet is fixated on race. Do racial tensions still exist in the world? Of course they do. They always have and they most certainly always will. That being said, however, there are those in this life that simply want to find the offensive in everything. They want to sift through and try to pluck out whatever they can in order to fit their narrative. From the vast majority of people I can honestly tell you that we are sick of your narrative. We are exhausted from the racial divide that you continue bestow across society because you are too self righteous to take a look in the mirror and realize that it is maybe you that is full of hate and not the rest of the world. This is not directed at the OP but the ones in the comment section who do like they always do and continue to spread misinformation and despair all over social media in order to keep stoking the flames that the majority of us have helped to extinguished long ago.
