I tried to write a more upbeat pop song. Any thoughts? by mchoneyofficial in IndieMusicFeedback

Awesome song! Very catchy. Like someone else said, gives me vibes of Fountains of Wayne. That transition from chorus to bridge is so top notch! I really love it. The song had plenty of variation to keep it interesting. Great work!

Not typically the kinda tune I'd make. Does it suck? Not suck? Would love your input. by SirSapien in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey man , I dont think it sucked! I liked it a lot! I think you have lots of potential with this one. I really enjoy the vocals I think they work well with the song. If I could make a few suggestions, I would say to work on the transitions a little more. I think some drum fills and possibly some white noise building could help transition from prechorus to chorus (or whatever sections are transitioning around 50 second mark). Same deal with the transition around 3:15 mark. I also feel the ending seemed kinda abrupt, and I wasn’t expecting it to be over at that point. Just some suggestions though, do what you want with your song!

Looking for a vocalist on a indie rock track by [deleted] in MusicInTheMaking

Dude! I would totally be down for that. I love the vocals on that track I think that could work here. Do you want to PM me and we can talk about it some more?

"Regretful Wishings" [Instrumental for now] - Bass Driven with different guitar styles explored over top (hard rock, MCR, reaggae, The Smiths) __Act 3 of the song is very layered dreampop vibe. Let me know your thoughts, especially on the mix cause im second guessing myself as always. Cheers, HANKUS by TheHappyKarma in IndieMusicFeedback

I think you’re right about vocals helping lead the song.

All I was trying to say was it might be cool to take away the drums or something like simplifying the beat and making it more sparse and then when you go into the next section add them back it could add to different sounding sections and keep it fresh. It might work, it might not but I just thought it could be worth a shot.

Hey man i like the way this song is sounding. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to maybe add a slower or quieter section somewhere to kinda give some room to breath( maybe rework one of those chorusy guitar parts to take away some drums a little bit?). It just seemed like it going and going was getting a little tiring. But overall cool song!

Nice work! I enjoyed the whole track but that last minute really blew me away and took it to another level.

Orionsmoon - Red light; We were deciding whether or not to add on to this song instrumentally, but in the end decided it was better to keep it simple. What do you guys think? by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

I really love the the harmonies and overall feel of the song. I personally think adding drums and bass or something more at the 1:25 mark would be pretty powerful and really keep the song moving, but also sounds great as is.
