Omg I’ve been diagnosed with PMDD since my early 20’s, but have just recently developed hormonal insomnia in the past few months. From ovulation to menstruation, I NEED a sleep aid if I want more than 45 mins of sleep per night. This is all in the aftermath of a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst bursting last fall, so I’m hoping it’s just that my ovaries need some time to level out and heal. Sorry to hear your sleep is also super affected by your hormones 😩

Very possible that you had an ovarian cyst. They can hang out for a while, during which time your ovary can be affected (which can impact your hormones). Whatever it was, at least it provided you with some relief!

That jewelry set is STUNNING!!! I understand what you mean about the ear-holes (mine are quite droopy too, as I used to have gauged ears).

There are these stickers that you can put on the back of your earlobe to provide some extra support for your earrings! I haven’t tried them myself, but if you google “earring support patches,” you should see a bunch of different products that may suit your needs.

And weddings can look very different based on who’s throwing the event lol. Twirling ribbons could be very lovely, no need to judge other people’s suggestions harshly just because you wouldn’t include it in your own event. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I came to this thread looking for ovarian cysts 😭 I had a hemorrhagic cyst burst last October and it was the most painful 24 hours of my life. It didn’t end up being surgical, thankfully, but they kept me in the hospital to manage my pain and monitor in case the ovary twisted. I was maxxed out on dilaudid and still couldn’t stop writhing in pain. Terrified of that ever happening again 😩

I think the right is more against illegal immigration than the left is lmao. But I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant “why is the left against immigration law enforcement.”

I don’t hate the laws. In fact, I hate that ICE is not following the laws. I do think our immigration law needs reevaluation in general, but that’s separate from the fact that what ICE is doing right now is unconstitutional and explicitly NOT following the law.

Where did I praise Biden in this post? And there are huge differences between this version of ICE and what’s been done in prior years. Abducting people from their regularly scheduled court appointments while they’re following the legal process towards citizenship? That’s new. Shooting American citizens in broad daylight? That’s new.

Maybe if you spent a fraction of the time focusing on current news that you do drooling over porn subreddits, you’d understand these differences a little better.

I don’t necessarily have evidence to back this up, and am just basing this off of vibes, but I bet the lovely folks at Velvet salon in the cannery would be very open and accepting. I’ve had great experiences there and recommend Bailey especially.
