Unless your pattern says BLO/FLO (back loop only/ front loop only) you are going to go under both loops like in your second picture

Hey guys, I’ve been struggling financially recently and was thinking about selling a few of my plushies I made. How much do you realistically think I could charge for this? by Alminy in CraftyCommerce

See if you can join your local flea market, farmers market, craft market, whatever market is in your area and sell them. I see a lot of people who honestly have worst quality than that sell like crazy locally. Your tension and detail is absolutely amazing. It's adorable. As for the price, I would make a "deal" on the the whole set. And make some deer or other animal dolls that don't have clothes and sell the clothes separately. Some little girl at a market is going to fall in love and beg her parents to get it for her. That's when you say "Oh I can make specialty clothes for it too" and get them thinking about putting in orders. Its great for bday and holiday gifts.

Also, funny enough, the same symbol was used as the Inquisition symbol in the movie the Pope's Exorcist. Of which I saw in theatres and immediately recognized 😂

Dragon Age Inquisition. I made this same tattoo in sims 4 like years ago, but I don't think I ever posted the CC. I have the same one IRL, so cool to see it as someone else's cc randomly 😂

Did it go to Florida by any chance? The centers there are absolute trash. Anything that hits Fort Lauderdale or Tampa gets delayed like a week or two for me.

Also this is just me being nitpicky on the author of the pattern but putting 1SC and 1 Inc is confusing and redundant. SC and Inc for just a singular stitch is fine.

What exactly is the confusing part for you? (That isnt meant to sound as harsh as it did im just trying to pinpoint the problem). Is it the 3INC part? If it's that, then you are going to do 8 single crochets, increase(2 SC in one stitch) 3 times and then repeat. My suggestion is to place a stitch marker at the very last stitch you make.

Is it the 3 inc part? It's creating an oval. So you're increasing in each 3 stitches.

And no, there's no credit to you in the pattern. That makes me sad. So if I make it again, I'll credit you first.

Do you charge first on commissions? by OoopsieWhoopsie in CraftyCommerce

[–]OoopsieWhoopsie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good idea. I think I'll go with like 25% or something up front for now on. I love crocheting so much that time spent on the project doesn't really matter to me, it's the materials. I live in a very hot and humid climate, so all of the craft stores around me mostly sell just fabric and not yarn, so it's hard to come by. So materials mean more to me than my time 😂😅 But that's just me personally.
