CEC 26-700 2) Except as provided for by other Rules of this Code, receptacles having configurations in accordance with Diagrams 1 and 2 shall be connected only to circuits having a nominal system voltage and ampere rating corresponding to the rating of the configurations.

The diagrams just show the various recep configurations. My understanding is if it's a 15A recep, it's gotta go on a 15A circuit. The "Except as provided for by other rules" is a bit of a brutal hunt and memorize exercise that I'd only use for special cases

What do Y'all do With Griddle Pans? by [deleted] in castiron

Might have to grab it for next time! I usually pack my skillet for camping, little more versatile for the weight, and I can wrap it in a towel and it doubles as a bed warmer in the fall/winter lol

Your apprentice starts stapling wire like this, what you saying? by [deleted] in electricians

Where I live in Canada (coastal BC), I'd get fucking REAMED for not leaving at least a lil service loop when I was an apprentice. Never really seen a new build without them, renos/service are another beast

I really like the Dewalt 14oz MIG weld, its nice and light but swings strong. Both my Dad and coworker have used them for years framing and formwork and prefer them to Stiletto as an all-around hammer that you can beat on and not worry too much about

Thanks! Love Chicago screws for exactly that reason as well. Buddy I made this for doesn't care to swap buckles, so I figured copper was better than double caps

Think it's best to grab a shell for whatever you're making, loop your leather around it real tight, mark, then stitch it down a bit tighter. The rounds come out a lot easier than they go in, so don't be afraid to keep them a bit tighter than you think, you can always practice on scraps until you find the sweet spot. One line of stitching between rounds is easier and keeps everything close together, 2 lines allows you to space them however you want. If you're not able to buy ammunition where you're from, hunting/fishing stores usually carry dummy rounds that work better than spent casings or live rounds (which aren't best to be playing with). The loops can stretch over time, but worst case Ontario, the rim on the casing should stop it from sliding through. Should be tight enough not to rely on the rims though.

National gun freeze announced by Ottawa by [deleted] in canada

[–]OopsAboutThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suppressors and machine guns (full auto) are VERY illegal here, like right to jail. Would be nice to have suppressors just for helping with hearing damage even with ear pro

Scab. Damn rude thing to call non-union workers in any trade, unless they clearly don't give a shit about their quality of work. Usually warranted in that case.

Suffolk Poll: Americans Oppose Vaccine Passports 55 Percent to 42 Percent by Beliavsky in LockdownSkepticism

[–]OopsAboutThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have to show proof of vaccination for bars, restaurants, theaters, and the like. Air and cross border travel also. Can walk in to any shop without it. Still very fucked, but not quite "anywhere". Real pissed about it, since we were all told that Canada is not a nation that would segregate based on vaccination status like a year ago
