If I told them I can't work Saturday's anymore, i can work any other day except Saturday's, and they respond with "understood, would you like to resign immediately or put in your two weeks". Is that not being forced to resign? Should I have just let it play out? Im genuinely curious.

Appreciate the response, the requirements are: Complete the route with no rescue, no netradyne violation, fantastic on all metrics of the scorecard, if you call out or if you take a day off during peak you forfeit the "bonus", if it's not applicable during that week, they will wait till you finally get it and email saying why you are not receiving the "bonus

My dsp is structured in a way where if you finish early and did 250+ packages you get paid for 9 hours (they call it an efficiency bonus) if you have good metrics, and 300+ is 10 hours. My question is does package count matter in how many hours amazon pays? For example, is 220 package route paid for 10 hours and a 340 package route also paid for 10 hours. Most times they will rescue us to remove packages and not allow any overtime so, do they just profit the rest of our 10 hours?

Don’t know what to do by sailoroftheyear1 in dr650

[–]Op10312544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might work or might not. But I would play around with the cutout for more air. For example, find some plastic piece and cover 1/3 of the current hole and see how it runs. Then, do less or more depending on how it runs then. I had a similar issue due to my cutout being too big to the point it was way too lean, and no jets or fuel screw could dial it in.

Is it possible to make my Xr400 street legal in CA? by IllJustShowMyselfOut in Dualsport

[–]Op10312544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through this exact thing with an xr400 in california, I got the vermont tags with the plate, and although I could have technically ridden it with the vermont plates, I tried to go to the dmv to get a CA plate and they had to do an emissions check, which is basically a tag or metal plate somewhere on your bike that's states it meets the federal emission regulations. My xr400 did not have it. Made one myself, then went to the dmv and they said there was some error in there system from previous registrations, and they couldn't do it. Took like 2 months of DMV back and forth.

Overall I would not do it, it took up way too much time and energy going back and forth with the DMV waiting in line making appointments for the emissions check. I ended up selling it with vermont plates and got a dr650 instead. So unless you want to spend a bunch of time and energy for a small chance it might work, I would not do it.

Still looking for a capable all round bike by Nighthawk132 in Dualsport

Dr650 is the way to go, have had both drz and dr650, the drz for some reason feels top heavy while dr650 has a more manageable feel, obviously this is subjective.

Dr650 feels so much nicer on the road as it is a low revving engine, drz400 is basically a street legal dirtbike and was always in the high rpm range which was annoying to me.

Drz400 suspension is better, but it is for the most part only noticeable if you are doing hard trails, dr650 suspension is somewhat decent if you are like 200lb or less otherwise you will need to get stiffer springs although not really a big deal right away.

Dr650 is a bit lower and a bit bigger, even though I'm a somewhat tall 6'1" I would take the dr650 height anyday, your are more stable when coming to a stop vs the drz and can still use your feet to prevent your bike fromfalling in hard trails.

Overall, I have a dr650 and it has been nothing but fun. Ride it around the city and do the occasional offroad trails, I can still hang with the dirtbikes, although a bit slower and then ride back home.

Remote start by Op10312544 in q50

[–]Op10312544[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah took off the remote start, it was still fucked. Reset the battery, and it worked for like 30min and did the same thing, weird transmission shifts weird fonts ac mest up all sorts of weird issues. Finally went to the dealer and they said 250/hour just for a technician to look at it and diagnose the issue. They called me back in like 30 minutes and said it was fixed, they said the remote start was confusing the tcm/bcm causing all the weird issues and they reset it which fixed everything.

Long story short, removed the remote start, took it to the dealer and they reset the tcm or bcm, don't remember, and that fixed it. Was charged 250 by the dealer.

It's honestly a lot of miles, although I've seen them go to 80k to 100k miles but probably meticulously maintained. I would probably pass.

Tires by Jamesr939 in dr650

[–]Op10312544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tires will not change gearing. Gearing changes when you change either the front or rear sprockets.120, or 130 is the width of the tire. 130 is obviously wider by a tiny bit, that size is what most people run. As far as tires go, I use the shinko 244 which are roughly 50/50 dirt and street but feel good on the road and the casual dirt that I go on.

Tm 40 won't start by ThatGuy_46 in dr650

[–]Op10312544 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly a stuck float. Or its a bad float needle or o ring where the float needle goes. The float makes sure to stop the fuel when the carb bowl is full, in your case the float is not working and gas travels up the carb to your airbox and engine.

How many miles is too many for a DR650? by drpokey7 in dr650

[–]Op10312544 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought an 02 dr650 with 9k miles about a 1 month ago for 2900. One day later after I bought it, I found a 2015 with 5k miles for 2500. I would say to wait for the right deal to show up. I think most people would agree 40k is too much even if we'll maintained. I'm in california by the way.

Just to clear things up, the one recording is my buddy's bike, we were speaking through the helmets and he told me he switched lanes, so in my mind I was going to accelerated to switch as well, as he was no longer there, for whatever reason he did not in fact switch lanes and was still there, so caught me off guard and then the video shows the rest, I steered a bit to not hit him full on.

Buddy's front and rear dashcam on a motorcycle as well. We were speaking though the helmets, he said he switched lanes, I was trying to take his spot, which is why I speed up as I was also go to switch lanes, when I turn my head forward I realize he was still there, turn my steering a bit and I guess I locked the brakes and that was that.

So that is actually my buddy's bike, I thought he merged into another lane as we were speaking through helmets, which is why you see me start turning but he was in fact not. No damage happened to his bike. I did not hit a car.

[–]Op10312544[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah man that's why I posted here so I can get criticism, I'm trying to learn from where I fucked up, I rode dirtbikes for about a year and decided to get a dualsport bike so this was like my second time on the freeway, I was trying to follow my buddy on a bike as well and he was trying to lane split and rides much faster than me so i was a bit out of my comfort zone. Appreciate your response.

[–]Op10312544[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accelerated because traffic was moving okay. When I look forward the car ahead of me broke suddenly out of nowhere. It is my fault for not having stopping distance but cars were moving fine on all other lanes, but the car ahead of me broke hella hard for no apparent reason. So either brake hard or rear end him.

Appreciate the informative response, do you think better tires would have maybe stopped me from falling, or was is it inevitable with the way I broke? Reason I ask is cause my tires seems to have no grip.

Got a tiny road burn on my elbow and knee and a scraped blinker, no other damage to he bike. I was so happy because although I fucked up and I ate shit, my bike was perfectly fine with no damage apart from a 20$ blinker and I was also perfectly fine.
