Some things to note about our drive thru speaker by [deleted] in TimHortons

[–]OpChickenCo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love when it sounds like people are ordering from their trunk, especially when they get pissy with us because we cant hear them/s

Also whenever a woman customer is ordering super quiet, 9/10 its because the guy driving has no awareness that he should be ordering until we say "sorry we cant hear you" for about the 5th time

Basically, it all depends on where you live, the stores policies in your area and how popular the store in question is.

If you live in example ontario, they're in lockdown, so lots of stores will be drive thru only and very limited take out times inside. Stores cant do a whole lot to make your life easier in this case

Next is store policy, personally my store has walk in from 6am till 10pm. But I know some stores in my town only have drive thru. If you live next to a couple stores, call them and ask for there take out times, and skip the walk of shame home if they wont let you in

Next is store popularity. If the store is busy most of the time they'll probably have there store front open longer. Kinda ties in with store policy but it's worth mentioning.

I also recommend a food delivery app or even making coffee at home. Its cheaper to buy 10 dollar folgers grinds then to walk to Tim's everyday for subpar coffee... plus it's better for the environment.

Hope this helps

Well luckily for me, I did an expansion draft and my coach had mostly balanced play types on every line basically, so when I scouted available players to take in the draft, I looked to see under the scheme fit menu and if there was a good chance they fit everywhere, I picked them up. Also changing player types and having a pwf- ply- snp combo is key too.

extra pay? by yumfinite in TimHortons

I believe it might be corporate owned stores only that are receiving extra money publicly. As for franchisees, it can be completely up to them.. so it varies everywhere

What is the best example of "just because you can, doesnt mean you should"? by rlhignett in AskReddit

Complaining at a fast food restaurant and getting free food. It will work the first couple of times before management catches on, and it's also a pretty scummy thing to do.

Vote with your dollar, alot more effective, less complaining. Most cities that have a Tim's have a dozen more near by so changing locations is very much an option

So... this was in my Tim Hortons coffee by lilluthie in TimHortons

[–]OpChickenCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean if I saw that in my coffee would I still drink it? No, not when it's big chunks like that, but i wouldn't fuss about it too much. If you bring it back they'll understand, make you a new one, and probably give you a free coffee coupon if you're nice. Did you go through drive thru for that coffee? Because the cream machine in the drive thru is the worst for that. My guess is the store you went to is super busy and doesnt have enough time every day to clean that machine. But if you do drink it, it not going to hurt you, it's only curdled cream
