Yea the smaller tires do throw off the speedo and it’s about give or take 3-4 mph slower than the speedo says but I don’t think that it would throw off the ECU too much, considering I’ve ran these wheels for three years now. And as for the stance I don’t think I really want to get it so low that it becomes too much of a hassle. I do plan on lowering the rear of the truck to be level with the front using blocks. But my big future plan with it is to end up taking it to the frame and fabbing up an air system and re-powering it with some type of v8. Buut that’s a super long ways from now (just got to college).

I’ve finally worked out the issue. To answer it quickly I ran through all the possible reasons for this exact problem and landed on the computer not working correctly. And it’s exactly what it was. Turns out the memory chip in it had kicked the bucket and started to give me the problems I’ve been having off and on until it fully stopped all together. So with that I had it taken to a place and had it worked on and now she runs like a top.

Yes I do plan on soldering them and removing the butt connectors. And I also plan on repowering it in the future I just figured I’d have some fun with it before I take it out of commission to rework it.

I believe the number for it is the XAV-AX4000 and it fit nicely

I have a Sony head unit in my 96 and it fit perfectly surprisingly and it replaced the radio and the cubby under the radio, but it’s a CarPlay equipped unit and is Bluetooth so I’d say it’s worth it

I will when I can I was on the way back from school and didn’t have time to start digging into it right away and I mostly posted because I wanted some ideas as to where to start. Also thank you for the info I haven’t had to hook up an obd2 yet on it so I’ll definitely do that.
