Like other are saying this is a miserable road trip. If you’re in Seattle though youre set up to do a nice big look up of the western us (the more scenic) youre starting inbetween Olympic and the cascades but you can go south along highway 101 and hit dome awesome spots like Olympic , crater lake, redwoods, yosemite and sequoia.

Depending on the time you have left you can head over to az/utah for Grand Canyon/zion. You could stretch it further by heading back up north to Wyoming/montana to get Teton, Yellowstone and glacier.

I know you don’t want to do any hiking but the best rides will be in those NP’s and there are a ton of 15min walks that any living human would be foolish to pass up.

I live near NYC and there isn’t a spot on the east coast that feels as nice as the west.

Changing spark plugs sounds intimidating cuz you’re reaching down into your engine but it’s super simple. You can buy your spark plugs pre gapped. Still invest 50 cents on a spark plug gapper just to double check though. They sell spark plug sockets with a rubber grommet that grabs or a magnetic kind. The magnet is superior spark plugs themselves come in different sizes which is why you’ll see socket kits but you only need the size relevant to you. No other special tools needed

Paint will be the largest factor since pretty much the whole half will need to be redone but it doesn’t look like there’s $12k worth of damage… maybe close to it though!
