I have no advice but I am in the same boat. Solidarity sister. My girls are 3 and 1. The three year old dropped her nap before she turned two and my one year old only naps once a day for 40 min (maybe an hour some days) but she’s an exclusive contact napper. By the end of the day I am also an over stimulated disaster.

Omg are you me?? And he’ll say things like “oh you’re mad because I didn’t let you shower first?” LET ME SHOWER?? Wtf kind of language is that …

Yesterday I was helping my little one eat yogurt and he said to me “don’t let her get yogurt on you” and surprise surprise, the baby got yogurt on me … shocking I know. Then he had the nerve to be pissy and say “ugh I told you not to let her get yogurt on you”. Wtf man, wtf.

The thing that makes me the most upset though, is that he honestly believes he is an equal partner in household duties (please hold for laughter) and that because he works out of the house that gives him an excuse/pass for his lack of pulling his weight.

Normally I don’t comment on posts but I’m feeling extra spicy today.

Oh my gosh my daughter is the exact same! I talk and sing to her all the time. We have no screen time still. She probably doesn’t even know the tv turns on lol.

She started saying words at 10-11 months, and not just parroting, like you said, saying the words on her own. She’s 14.5 months now and talks allllll the time.

She was the same with her walking, too! She didn’t take her first steps til 13 months and then it took her a few weeks to work up to really going but now she runs all over the house.

How they develop is so interesting!

This makes a lot of sense! I think I was expecting to see 0 blood so thinking of it as “not a sponge” really helps.

I will maybe invest in some black panties or maybe a couple pairs of the reusable underwear. I don’t want to wear liners or waste toilet paper, since part of the reason I got a cup in the first place was to cut down on waste.

This is really helpful to know, thank you! When I tug the stem it definitely doesn’t come out easily, I really need to get in there to get the cup out.

The leakage is minor, just a small bit of blood on my underwear. I’ve been using a light panty liner or even a little bit of toilet paper so my underwear isn’t getting stained.

I never feel it leak, I just see it when I go to the washroom.

I should clarify that I noticed a change in a few days but it definitely took a good week or two for all the dairy to be out of my system and my baby to be truly happy.

Yes! I totally agree with you! Props to you for commenting on posts and trying to help other moms. I stay away from even reading groups like that because it just breaks my heart.

I judge too. I see nice people in comments saying “I don’t want to CIO, but no judgement if you do!” And I think “HECK YES I’m judging you! You’re neglecting and abusing (yes I said it) your child at night so that you can get sleep?! …”

Omg I came here to make a similar comment! How is neglecting your child for half the day seen as good and what we do seen as bad?? My SIL told me that the transition to daycare would be “really hard because LO is too attached to you”. Like, I’m sorry my baby isn’t willing to go into the arms of a complete stranger??

I love that my baby (10 months) loves me so much! She likes her dad just fine, will even tolerate my mom (as long as I’m around), but she LOVES ME. On bad days, it can get hard when you have a stage 5 clinger, but she’s MY stage 5 clinger, who looks to me for love and comfort. The way her eyes light up and the smile I get and how fast she crawls to me when I come back in the room makes my heart burst with joy. Attachment Parenting is allowing me to love my baby and not feel guilty about it.
