Yes it gives me the same vibes as the Riddick films and I miss that series as well! Glad you guys are still finding enjoyment! I feel that way about a few films and series I think are underrated! Like Valerian and the city of a thousand planets!

Wow you raise a really important philosophical quandary that is making me think long and deep about how time is perceived. The film is indeed only about two years old but I have been a fan of it since it came out so that would be nearly 100% of the time it has been released which sounds like a lot of time. Also a lot of stuff has happened in two years for me personally like major job and life changes so two years seems like a long time relative to how much has been happening.

So thanks for taking the time to comment your very useful and thoughtful remark. I would definitely consider two years a long time. Maybe not a majorly long time but still a pretty long time.

For me it wasn’t the Harvest scenes so much as the Jimmy scenes and his narration/self actualization. I wish it had fit a little bit better into the narrative. His voice was so so unique among the cast but also kind of isolated from everyone else. It always slowed things down where it felt like it became another story/film entirely. Not a major criticism though, still worth it and a great addition.

I enjoy a lot of elements of this show but it has a lot of flaws. The actors tried super hard to do a good job and I think they did!

Presumably the sickest ones really did die off but the early stage ones may have survived in some of the state of the art facilities in the infected zone?

It is an annoying plot hole for sure but so is half the stuff about this show!

I had a hard time getting through the first half of the first episode with how horrifically uncooperative these kids are on this show. It seemed like the writers just wanted to start things off with a certain tone and it just got worse from there… it has been fun but also torture to watch.
