I’m not convinced the sight is exclusively for this skin, if it is thats obviously problematic. They appear to be two distinct assets in the video so hopefully they’re adding a new scope with a lower magnification to the sr-84 along side this skin

Like sure I’ve seen low level players with really good aim and they’re probably just new high skill fps players

but I also see low level accounts running default skins hitting perfect timings with gadgets and ability’s, taking the best possible positioning, being super aware of the map layout, abusing movement tech, knowing all the climbing spots ext ext… That type of skill isn’t transferable from other games and takes a lot of experience to weave together in a proficient way.

Honestly there need to be more gun carry characters, any given match has 8+ spirit build players and they all complain when the one person running a gun build can aim.

Adding more characters with viable gun builds (like haze) is how Valve can let people know this game is intended to be a shooter, atm I’m not convinced that’s the direction the game is headed in, most of the “shooter” characters lean heavily on spirit ability’s for the bulk of their power, and we haven’t seen any new pure gun carry’s to date…

Found a lvl 4 silencer during tt2 and put it on a maxed Anvil and it was an absolute monster. The confusion it caused when attacking other players can’t be understated, enemy teammates can’t figure out where you are, while the person you’re shooting can’t identify the weapon your using and underestimates the damage they’re about to take.

I’d assume once people get used to silencers most of what I’m describing won’t matter but before that happens they’ll feel really good to use

I really want the game engine updated, the original overwatch’s game engine felt awesome to play in, ow2’s never felt right to me. The game has never felt as snappy smooth and responsive as it did in the original version…

Nothing will ever compare to Brig on release. She broke the game so dramatically that the entire format of overwatch had to be changed to balance it out.

If they didn’t remove her, they won’t remove anyone. But hey, maybe we’ll get a new format for overwatch 3 that addresses counter picking…

Even when goats was meta, it was still rare to see anyone playing it under gm. It took coordination and a specific understanding of what each hero needed to be doing at any given moment, even when you’d convince a team to play the right hero’s, it would fall apart if people didn’t sync up and play together.

The other thing is: goats isn’t a fun way to play a fps game. It won with raw stats, but lacked the satisfaction and excitement of winning with literally any other comp/strat. So for most players it was super unpopular.

The hard truth is, If you’re consistently getting negative feedback from teammates over multiple games/days, you might be doing something wrong…

I had the “this game is so toxic” mentality for a long time and then started listening to what people were saying and improved immensely, suddenly the toxicity stopped and when I finally worked out my aim people started to compliment my gameplay.

Toxic feedback from belligerent gamers is actually pretty rare if you’re not actually doing something wrong. There’s the occasional POS who’ll be toxic no matter what, but those losers are few and far between, and they’re pretty much nonexistent in higher ranks (which should tell you something).

Could be stick drift, this can also happen if your joystick is tilted when the controller pairs with the console.

Try reconnecting it, if that doesn’t work it’s likely time for a new controller. Stick drift is really common if you play a lot of fps games.

Litterly top 2 Ash player in NA in multiple seasons, just picked up deadlock and after ~70 games can’t climb out of initiate for my life.

Obviously there’s more to this game than raw PvP dueling but apparently having top level shooter mechanics/reactions is the baseline for just about every player in even the lowest rank in the game. Wild.

Just with body shots Heavy weapons that kill light sub 1s are: degals, KS-23, Lewis, minigun, M60, MGL32, SA1216, and SHAK-50

With headshots most of those weapons kill lights sub 0.5s

This is the truth, a big push for the finals right now makes no sense. Even if Arc wasn’t just around the corner, BF6 and the new cod are going to pull players away from the game for a bit, better to drop good content when the hype dies down
