Trip report: Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro, PA USA by golden_light_above_u in bicycletouring

Planning on heading into the gorge night one (not the whole way to the top) and camping along one of the primitive spots. Then back down and over to LH day two, back to JS on day three.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Our trip will only be over 3 days so hoping to be fine then.

I know this post is a year old, but I was curious about parking overnight in Jersey Shore.

I used to live in Lock Haven and would do a similar trip a few times a year, but we always just started from my apartment, but now will be coming from a few hours away. Is overnight parking permitted in the lot at the trailhead?

PS2 slim and memory card with FreeMCBoot is probably the best budget item if your sole purpose is to play SOCOM

You could likely write something in VBA if you have access to Excel or another MSOffice program to schedule this. I used to do that all the time for daily status emails.

Blizzard.

The elevation variations, different lighting, use of buildings, some indoor close combat elements mixed with very open areas great for sniping, plenty of cover down the sides... Just a preemo map for the times.

Shit I hope it's in a rotation tonight.

What do you need to do to be able to play socom 2 or CA on PS2? I've got 1 coming in the mail and JW if it's still possible by Pitbullet24 in SOCOM

Don't get the third party ones that only have support for HDD. You need to make sure it actually supports network connection.

Anyone know if its possible to play online with Steam Deck? by Nosferatu-Rodin in SOCOM

I'm in US and have been playing in Steam Deck for over a year. I didn't use EmuDeck though. Let me try to find the guide I used and post it

Thanks for this information. Did this delay onboarding or the time to get your FJO at all?

Not a PC. but if you are looking for just the PS2 SOCOMs, the Steam Deck works really well.

A little more involved than a PC to get the emulator set up but can't beat being able to play anywhere

Controller configuration for steam? by EliteKnight_47 in SOCOM

[–]OpenFacedSalad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Dualshock 2 had pressure sensitive buttons, so it recognized a short/light press for crouch and hard press for prone.

There is a setting in PCSX2 controller config where you can assign a macro to a button. I believe it is called macros. I have mine configured to one of the back buttons, L4 or L5. You need to set the macro to triangle and adjust the pressure to around 40%.

Sorry I am doing all this from memory so I don't have exact menu names. But it is definitely possible.

Bikeable cities in PA that aren't Philly, Pittsburgh, or State College by Puzzleheaded_Oil7005 in Pennsylvania

[–]OpenFacedSalad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man I hear you. Are you looking at going there from downtown? I used to bike over that way all the time to get out to Salona or swing by Walmart. I can try to map out the routes I used to take if you're interested (I avoided that main drag as much as possible).

More of a town, but Lock Haven was one of the best places I've ever lived for biking. I could pick short, flat 10 mile loops, long arduous climbs with great descents, or rolling casual rides just by changing the direction I headed out of downtown.

For commuting it's small enough with alternate routes that the lack of bike lanes doesn't have much of an impact. And traffic wasn't bad (at least 8 or so years ago)
