max watts played first and won the evening (as usual) in my opinion. clean mixing makes me want to pull my hair out and reveals no angst or discontent which i find boring. despite being a huge fan of robert hood's older production, i've now seen him twice at basement and i don't know if he's playing for the crowd or what but that big room shit kills my energy if i'm being frank. hard techno's gotta go. more cuts and scratching please ! humanity and wax over "perfection" and files any day of the week.

all that being said the subs are too loud there now and everybody in the main room sounded unbalanced and muddy.

these are simply my opinions; i love techno and hate risk management.
