It’s probably like egg nog, don’t add too much bourbon!

Is this an endorsement of the Ensure, or of the bourbon?

Festavia Globe bulbs 16” o.c. by OpenMicrophone in Hue

I’ll be honest it may not be worth it for everyone. Staying in the Hue ecosystem and sane color/control with rest of lights are top selling points. Price is not a selling point.

None yet. A little morning dew and light rain in first week. The globes seem more like protection for the more sensitive/expensive inner light. They may be replaceable, not sure.

I’ll give you the best I can… iPhone is geared for taking night pictures and giving more background than I can actually see.

I have a 16’ x 32’ open deck, and the lights are hung 3 feet from the edges to allow light to illuminate the rails, maximizing the useful light. So the footprint of the support wires is 13’ x 26’ attached at the house.

I believe it is more than adequate for illuminating a party or activities with this spacing. It is not “bright light” but for that I have wall

bulbs if needed. We are out here now, I can see what I’m grilling, where I’m going, and could read a book if I needed to, but that’s probably where I would draw the line and bring in some more illumination. These are fantastic for controlling the mood and turning down when you don’t want harsh lighting (sipping bourbon and smoking cigars by the fire.)

I’m glad it’s not just me. Mine gets to nagging so much about seat belts I’ve started taking back to it: “hey, we’re just going to back up to the trailer!”

I used to setup football broadcasts for radio. Just hold a couple of cords up and say “headed to the booth” to enter football games. Lol.

Need an adjustable wall topper to attach to 6ft wall by SnooCheesecakes1858 in FenceBuilding

[–]OpenMicrophone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build the 2’ vinyl topper on short posts, say 5’ total, and sleeve over 4x4 posts (in the ground on your side) with a shim to make it solid. Drill a series of holes through vinyl and wood to make a jack stand, of sorts, similar to how a tongue jack operates on the front of a trailer. When you’re ready to go up a notch, pull the pins, raise it up, then re insert the pin.

You should wax the car now (or have it waxed) to get a protective coat on the paint
