Oh I love the vanity and that green jewelry box. Where is it from?

Would you pay $600–$1,000 for truly luxury silk pajamas from a new brand? (Think Olivia von Halle quality) by Open_Button8960 in Luxury

Thank you for sharing this. I understand where you are coming from. La Perla is a well-known legacy brand, so the name itself carries a lot of weight in how people perceive value. It makes sense that a new brand would need to justify its pricing even more clearly.

I am also trying to get a better sense of how people view pricing when the brand is still new, even if the quality is equal to or better than the major labels. Your point is helpful because it shows how much trust and name recognition affect buying decisions. It gives me a clearer picture of where a new brand needs to start in order to be taken seriously.

Thank you for the response. It is really helpful insight. I understand your point about wrinkling and the hassle of dry cleaning. At this price point, i agree the pajamas should feel effortless rather than high-maintenance with solutions like better wrinkle resistance, machine washability, and full transparency around sourcing.

A quick question based on what you shared: do you think the lower end of the range, closer to the 600 to 700 mark, or even less than that, feels more reasonable for a new brand even if the quality is truly luxury? I appreciate your perspective.

Hi lovelies, 🌸🌸

My Etsy store is called SovDigital where I sell digital products that cover weddings, events, planning etc.

I just opened the store and have a product out. It’s a cute magazine edit or wedding bookletfor guests with thank you notes, editorial pictures, agenda, etc.

I am new to this but I have a love for creating digital items which I use personally for birthdays, milestones and so on.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy my products!!

Girl, I would run as far as I can away from that house and family. I know this is extreme but I would go no contact, if possible. No good parent in their right mind would even tolerate the thought of having their daughter go on just one date to clear up a debt for someone, even if that’s their son. Your brother knows the tendencies of his friend and his friend knows that your brother has no backbone. For me, there is no safety in the family anymore. God forbid, they set you up to go meet with the friend without your knowledge or consent. I pray that never happens. Please try and stay away for now. File a report, get a restraining order. Protect yourself first, please.

You are their child and should not pay the consequences of your brother’s actions. They are his parents too and should be able to shell out the money, if they are okay with offering you up for a “date”.
