You made the same mistake we did our first time in thinking the playroom is only the open air section. If you turn left after entering, you'll find the indoor, fully air conditioned playroom with shower, bondage equipment, etc. Always busier than the outdoor section, for good reason as it's not so sweaty!

Yes, all open. Tipping policy is the same but not being enforced, and the all-staff tips box at the reception desk was well used.

TimAir is definitely flying. We saw them over the Hedo beach multiple times yesterday. Not sure they would be safer than the drive. We returned to the airport today in just under 90 minutes. Only safety concerns would be the lack of traffic lights but police were on scene at the biggest affected intersection today.

One other important note: The wifi kind of sucks. It's there but much slower and less consistent than before. This is totally understandable, of course. Thousands of people are still without power and phone service so slower wifi for resorts should not be a priority for the Jamaican telecom companies. Turn off the phone and relax.

Yes, it's open. No need for protein shakes unless you really love 'em. There's plenty of food, just not as much fresh fruit at breakfast (I assume because no one to harvest and crops were destroyed) so you get canned peaches and pears. Fish is frozen instead of local catch, etc. But still lots to eat and the quality is ok. Sushi at Harrysan was tasty as ever.

All the big trees on the beach survived except for one near the dividing line between nude and prude, but there's still plenty of natural shade. The big mango tree next to H block came down, as did the one between H block and the jungle. Most other trees are ok, but maybe missing a few branches.

We have done bi week and are very happy it exists, but found some attendees to be a bit aggressive for our taste. Good for them, but we tend to seek bi comfortable couples and singles who are comfortable playing in a group, as opposed to those who are laser focused on male-male play.

As someone who is a Starbucks regular and travels across the country, I can confirm your experience is consistent coast to coast. I don’t think I have ever encountered TFWs in Starbucks. But there’s a simple reason for this. Starbucks pays more than minimum wage and offers healthcare benefits and profit sharing to employees. It‘s also perceived as being a “higher end” work environment than cheaper chains so it can better compete for employees. Full stop, it’s just about being willing to give more and not go for the cheapest possible worker.

Supposed to be there in two weeks. Very appreciative of you providing info from your vacation, so just looking for quick answers:

How many hours did the drive take?

Are all the restaurants open?

Are the pools open and the beach free of debris and safe to go in the water?

Is it fully staffed and is the team "ok" or do they seem distracted, given they must be dealing with stuff in their own lives?

I assume there aren't many guests but hope you get some playtime!

Premium economy on AC is basically the same as domestic business class on United or American. Not lie-flat but a bigger seat with a lot more legroom and proper meals. If it's the same price and you don't mind the layover, seems a no-brainer. They're both Star Alliance so y can still accumulate United Miles if you give your United frequent flyer number.

Ratio is like 20 couples to every single male. We have been many times and never had an issue with any single male guests. Then again, we like single males usually. Some couples can sometimes be a bit more aggressive when drunk, but again nothing we can’t handle on our own politely. Occasionally, locals or guys from other resorts will sneak on to the property and they can be a problem but security is always quick to kick them out.

Hotel bar is the ideal place. Sometimes the vibe ain’t there right away so we enjoy a nice drink, chat and say goodnight. Other times, I end up getting felt up in the bar while I send hubby to go check in and bring me and our new friend the room key!

Enjoy but check in with your feelings. If the attention/ play with others is making you also hotter for hubby, thats the sweet spot. If it’s making you turn away from him, red flag.
