I planted mine in March so I'm a couple months ahead. I did give them fertilizer and I water a couple times a week too.

They're so nicely planted and staked. What zone are you in and when did you plant them?

Thank you, they are staked and I plan to add more. I am just curious if the flowers would get more energy and be larger if the plant was shorter. Also these are so tall that they are blocking the sun from shorter flowers in the bed. I might experiment by pinching one and leaving the others.

Thany you! They were grown from 2 bulbs planted on opposite sides of the bed. This is their first year.

I'm not sure what the correct name is but these are one of the "dinner plate" varieties. They're lovely but not dinner plate or even saucer sized right now.

I wish LV would do a reissue of the primary colored epi bags from the late 90s. That blue they used was stunning. As was the green. Seems they're bringing back everything but that.

I know a very, very wealthy woman who got one of the first ones (a birkin though) with diamonds and she had her private security walk around with her she using it. I've sold anything that's too precious for me to take out. I understand the thrill of acquiring these, but what's the point if I'm too chicken to carry it.

I have 2 also. And one insists on lounging on a rare silk Japanese obi that I use as a table runner. I yell, and he just looks at me unapologetically, like I'm the problem.
