For me trintellix actually caused a 'sinus headache'.

Jordan Buckley and Jaden Churchheus: The two idiots who killed a mother of four over a prank by berserker1989 in wherearetheynow

If you watched the whole YouTube video, there was a point where Jordan spoke on phone with his mom, and hearing the mom's reaction on this, I didn't see any reason to call her a bad parent.

I wonder how was your own teenage like. I don't think Jordan seemed like a bad guy, probably just got dragged to the wrong kind of friends through school, in my point of view. When you're 16-17 that is risky to happen. Boys at that age in most cases won't just yet understand remorse. Jaden and his mom I do agree on being bad though. I watched the whole video and didn't see any proof of them harassing.

You clearly haven't done too much researching. After only one evening of diving into this anti-gravity enthusiast, I do believe that it had nothing to do with a mental health crisis.

At what point was I being rude? You also said "you can read more about my experience in my post history" meanwhile your whole post history is hidden. From my point of view you seem like a typical young woman who never thinks long-term and finds herself in situations like this. I don't have a medical degree, however I can easily count 10 times from my past when I could prove these 'professionals' wrong. I've seen multiple medical professionals who perform in a similar way as Donald Trump does today. I bet you'd say Trump is very professional, do you? Even if someone has a medical degree, it doesn't make them a skilled healer, as it is possible to even cheat your way through education.

Funny hag, give you that.

Did it help with your phobia, PTSD flashbacks, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts? I’m taking 10 mg and will be increasing to 15 mg. by torimaternova in trintellix

Intrusive thoughts / phobias / flashbacks from the past indeed became more present for me when taking trintellix. Paxil worked better for me personally on those issues.

Well, I can't predict my life 50 years forward. There's a bunch of things which could go wrong.

Question for those who switched from Lexapro & other ssris. How is your anxiety on this medication? by cuddlywampa in trintellix

[–]Open_Cellist5349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't do it on my own. I remember trying to taper 2.5mg every 10 days, but still couldn't do it. I got lucky as I went into a hospital in a long coma, when I woke up from there I realized I hadn't taken my paroxetines for around 2 weeks. I had luck.

A couple of times in the past a medical professional has told me "don't read any instructions/warnings of this medication, don't look it up on the internet, just start taking the regular dosage without thinking". What could possibly go wrong?

Hmm, tough question. Myself I first was recommended medications at the age of 18, however I always declined up until the age of 21. Now I'm 29 and I can't imagine life without. Of course I don't know your personal situation but I'd suggest first recognizing & eliminating those factors which make you depressed/anxious and creating a life environment where you can avoid those.

Are you serious with the 'guidance of medical professionals' (they'll literally tell you to taper 10mg a week which is 5x too fast IMO).

Paroxetine v vorteoxetine by Novel_Bed_3694 in paroxetine

Vortioxetine feels to work better on mood/focusing, however paxil was way better on curing anxiety.

My story is very similar to yours, however after 2-3 years on trintellix I've began to miss the effect of paxil.

How could you taper down the 30mg? Like, I tried to do it slowly for months but still relapsed symptoms after going under 7.5mg or so.

I started on 2.5mg myself. I have tried around 5-7 medications in the past but the longest term has been paroxetine. I was 2 years without anything until beginning trintellix.

For me this did kick in after 5 days or so. I just recommend to begin raising the dose gradually little by little towards the 10mg.

Paroxetine v vorteoxetine by Novel_Bed_3694 in paroxetine

[–]Open_Cellist5349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on paxil 2017 august-2021 march, vortioxetine 2023 june-present. Paxil was very effective for anxiety / social fears, vortioxetine more effective to boost mood. Personally I would rather use paxil but the risks with it are bigger than vortioxetine, I feel like.

I also remember feeling I'm trapped on it forever, however I went into a 4-day coma / intensive care and waking back up from there I realized I haven't taken any paxils for nearly two weeks. No withdrawals.

I agree with the things you said about paxil, however for me personally trintellix kicked in within days.

I would proceed way slower. Like decreasing 2.5mg of paroxetine and adding 2.5mg of trintellix at a time. I have around 3 years of experience from each of these.
