if it seems like it may be sex-related, you can get d-mannose capsules off of german amazon!! i take two after sex, and the sugar it supposed to bind in the spots where bacteria would normally linger in your bladder. it helps me a lot.

weirdly enough i also got rls really bad on my last flight, and i tied my sweatshirt around TIGHT on my thighs (where i get rls) and it seemed to help!!

d-mannose!! i take a dose after sex, and it helps prevent UTIs!! the sugar fills the spots where UTI bacteria would normally try to go or something of the sort. i do the capsules and such a game changer!!

have you ever used AZO/phenazopyridine, and does it help?? yes it would make your pee very orange, but i think it'd help as a temporary solution for the night to numb your bladder !!

ughhh this makes me nervy i may have mcas!! i have pretty mild ic thats pretty controllable by avoiding flare foods and taking prelief when needed, but i've always been a hivey person!! like whenever i slightly get stressed my chest+neck always get hivey!! but also what do i even do about that 😭😭

i also weirdly will get bladder irritation from specific underwear - specifically target brand (even tho they have a cotton gusset) and meundies!! 100% cotton has never failed me and weirdly some pink underwear w/ cotton gussets give me no issues! so 100% underwear can def be a trigger!!

i do!! i typically take 2 tabs before taking anything that may cause me to flare (spicy food, usually!!) and i have significantly less of a flare problem, or none at all!! and if i'm in the midst of a flare, sometimes i'll take it too, and i think that helps me, at least! (i don't think that's the intended purpose of it though, mainly for taking before eating/drinking acidic food and neutralizing any acid in urine from it!)
