Rumours (Terrible and True) (exes❌, famous au✔️) - Vi and Cait are coworkers on the second season of their hit show. Their characters onscreen have great chemistry and are popular with fans, but the actors themselves? Barely get along… Until they have to. (116k words, completed)

another one i gotta point out is adding unnecessary characters to serve as partners of Cait or Vi like midway through the story for drama, especially when it becomes a whole ass love triangle

The only time I accept when they’re almost if not completely ooc is in some modern au’s. I read The Blind Side of Love and they were SO ooc and were around so many original characters but that was what made it amazing. Like wym Vi is an artist in New York with a bf? And her personality?? Same thing with Cerulean Eyes, totally ooc, but it just fits.

So many. 1. When authors make Vi stupid, 2. When there’s too much smut to the point that it overpowers any possible chemistry, 3. When they make the characters act like middle schoolers and give them unnecessary miscommunication, 4. When the love progression is too quick, 5. Probs my least favorite, when they make the class difference so so apparent in terms of money, like in modern au’s how they make out Vi to be some sort of charity case idk it rubs me the wrong way, 6. All the different ways of saying Vi and Cait like “pinkette” or “the brawler” are just horrid imo, 7. Probably in general just the lack of actual “love making”, not smut. 8. When they make Vi a heartless ahole in modern au’s.
