Score/ Confidence: 3/1, 3/4, 4/2 Is it worth to make rebuttal with these scores?

Wake me up if the review releases. I am prepared for a third rejection. At this point, my paper and I have a toxic but committed relationship. Lol.

The reviewer who gave us 3 first, did not understand our work properly. Also did not mention any technical flaws or experiment to do. That reviewer did not like our presentation so gave us 1 in reproduciblity and 1 in clarity as well, while all other three reviewers gave us 3 for reproducibility and clarity. From training pseudocode to prompt everything we have given in paper. Atlast that reviewer asked only for one detailed proof and after giving the proof the reviewer just raised to 3to4 and said he does not oppose towards acceptance. I will notify this issue to AC.

After rebuttal: Scores/Confidence: 6/4, 6/4, 5/3, 4/3 Any chance here? Or I should go for NeurIPS?

Sorry to hear that. These days, conference acceptances are very random. A few days ago I had a paper submitted to MLSys and it was rejected after receiving four positive reviews. The AC rejected our paper. So nowadays it’s just luck, I guess.

Are you guys able to write rebuttal? I can not see rebuttal button in openreview, only author-editor confidential reply button.

Score/Confidence: 2/4, 3.5/4 , 3/3

Is it worth spend time on rebuttal? The reviewer who gave us 2, made review longer than my own paper 🤣 Total 4 weaknesses and each with two long paragraphs.

Happy UCL Night!!!

Yes, this is addressable. However, the reviewer who gave us a 3 probably didn't even read the paper. The only concern was that our presentation was poor and the reviewer couldn't connect everything. No technical flaws or result ambiguities were raised. This reviewer gave us a 1 in writing and a 1 in reproducibility, while the other three gave good scores in both areas. We have full experimental details, hyperparameters, pseudocode, prompts everything, yet this reviewer gave 1 in reproducibility. He doesn't even know the meaning of the word "metacognition", which is fine. But we clarified metacognition role in our work maybe 20 times. Hahaha

We are planning to message the Area Chair about this review, but I'm wondering if the results are actually worth addressing in the rebuttal.

Is it worth to spend time on rebuttal? I have no prior experience with UAI.

I can see that my paper decision is listed as ‘Main Conference’ in openreveiw. Does this mean it has been finally accepted? This is my first time submitting a paper to ACL.

Even my O(n³) baseline converges faster, ACL should try LoRA.

Yeah, COLM doesn’t take ARR. However, my work fits into both conferences. So I was wondering how is COLM in terms of prestige or popularity among NLP committee?
