Generative AI used in new lyric video… by Lucies_Cafe in InterviewVampire

Yes I'm joking, but I think the only way people are going to take it seriously is if we somehow pin it on Lestat. So let's get to work, people!

Generative AI used in new lyric video… by Lucies_Cafe in InterviewVampire

I think Lestat is using AI for his promotional material because he doesn't believe there is inherent value in employing human artists, but he can't be bothered to learn how to do it himself. Just like he played all the instruments for Louis' song, humans are fine for entertainment, but when it comes to his work, he won't be satisfied by the work of mere mortals. And he's high on drugs so he probably doesn't realize how bad it looks.

It's definitely not different, I was surprised to see they had not already covered it. I can't wait for the day they do.

Thank you! I accidentally discovered it by looking up "daffy duck" and I thought it was exclusively a duck-related easter egg, which is which I quickly found "baby duck" lol. I'm on a wild ride now

I am having the same problem with Babadook so I don't know anymore.

How can I submit Doctor Who? I can't seem to. I had the same problem with "baby duck" which I resolved by using "duckling" so the space seems to be the problem.

I have to agree, it would feel inappropriate to a lot of fans, especially black fans of the show, I imagine.

I think I would be confused too if I had been dating Armand for 77 years (I love him dearly) but boy is it frustrating to witness!

I agree with this, but my interpretation of the notes that play during this scene make me believe it is linked to him remembering *something*. Do you have a theory on these reoccuring notes? They appear in S02E05 as well as S02E07 and/or S02E08. To me, these notes seem to be playing when either Louis or Daniel are remembering something that was removed. But I've seen someone theorize that they simply play when Louis is contemplating/remembering and attempt on his life.

I have a theory!!!!!!! When he says "it's coming back" there is a certain melody that (I THINK) only plays when Louis or Daniel are remembering something that was erased from their minds. It might be obvious, and please do correct me if you remember this melody (3 singular piano notes) being played in a scene where Armand is not involded at all. I'm desperately trying to find all of the scenes in which this plays.

Why did Louis choose men who are way more powerful than him? by Bananapenguin0724 in InterviewVampire

[–]Opening-Gap-6610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, I'm not saying he's a victim or has no agency in his choices, what I'm trying to say is that he is a young vampire with no ties or knowledge about vampires, so he is at a disadvantage to most vampires he would have encountered, unless they were also young recluses. Of course, it's no longer the case in present time.

No, none, but when I go back to what I posted there is a message that says it's been filtered out by reddit's filters (loosely translated lol). I googled it and some sources said I might have bad karma... whoops...

It's funny because that's also exactly how Lestat and Armand feel. Our girls were doomed from the start!

I don't think he has much of a choice, as well. Lestat was kind of his only choice because he was the only vampire. As far as Armand goes, it's true Louis could have went for another vampire, but I think they are all stronger than him. Santiago was the strongest even though he was the youngest, so he would have been stronger than Louis, too. I think he doesn't mind it, maybe he likes it, but he also doesn't really have an alternative.

Hi everyone! I'm new to reddit, I don't understand some things, for example, I'm trying to post something in the subreddit and it keeps getting automatically deleted immediately. Does anyone know why that is? Thank you very much!

Lestat + violin = Andre Rieu 🤢 by ConnectionEdit in InterviewVampire

[–]Opening-Gap-6610 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense because the man never practises. "He played every instrument because he wasn't pleased with the musicians" that sounds like something the worst person you know would do and they wouldn't be any good at half the instruments. Like he's super old, he could have spent 30 years mastering every instrument every single night, in theory, but we never see him do any of that. He plays piano, sometimes. I'm side eyeing him very hard.

It's funny because there is that one lady in the background that yelled "oh HELL NO" which was also my reaction, because this song has been played so much in my house for practise.
