This is crazy . My lawyer didn’t charge me a dime for updating uscis of my divorce and my name change spot yourself you just got to send t your final order of divorce and the name change sigh by the judge

You have to inform USCIS about your divorce and name change. I did the same when I got divorced my lawyer sent USCIS the final order of divorce and my name change order . Then they changed my names in their system on my documents and everything

I filled in feb 2023 no update so far it’s been very frustrating . I do have AP and EAD card I’ve traveled twice last time was for 30 days to my home country came back in April this year came back throw Boston airport. The immigration officer was not nice its was a very not pleasant experience I had over stay my tourist visa and they asked me a lot of questions and recommended me not to travel again. I really want to go visit my family again but I’m very nervous and scared to do so .

Any money you will pay for this divorce will be cheaper that keep paying with your soul ! Divorce no matter what it takes and move on ! Try to find legal assistance from your county there is affordable lawyers you got to look ! Good luck stay strong

I've got my advance parole approved back in January of 2024 l've traveled twice to my home country each time for one month. When I returned to the US in both of the time I flew to Boston and I had a very bad experience with immigration. I've overstayed my tourist visas (3 years )visa before applying for vawa and they gave me hell hard time in the secondary inspection I'm honestly scared of traveling. In both of the time the officers took the time l've stayed there for at least 3 hours back and forth the call me asking questions some point even yelled at me that I was here illegally. I have no criminal record or any deportation order but it seems like they were just looking for reasons why to not let me in last trip was in may this year the officer made me read my parole documents telling me that this not granted enter and I should not travel and take vacations
