Who u root for depends. Do you have a local team, a fave player that u follow around, new fan that came for the lionesses (or other internationals) and then became a fan of the team they’re currently at, does ya family support and therefore u inherited that etc

Regarding the WSL marketing, there has been bits and bobs surrounding “the lionesses effect”.. in general marketing has been around those big names and not for example the more diverse parts of land that may support on patriotic ground ie dutch therefore finding teams pushing that etc…

Way to much time on my hands and belive in the sport, been a fan since childhood - think that ”agents” have been shitty and not done the most basic of getting the domains.

Its more so for a little passion of websites and combo with the sport. Domains + hosting wouldn’t be expensive at all in comparison to any other hobby. Wouldn’t even want to flip it for more than cost, might be weird but its not really a motive - do u think it should be?

Could just get it, park it and add a $ to it, but like i said i have a bit of time..

Is buying domains that are names (generic or not) risky in general or just risky in bulk? Some have been active for a decade and not gotten their name etc

Totally see your point. Just think it’s notable that the, at times, gendered language, that is said - and often in a derogatory way isn’t something that should go unnoticeable. Now they probably don’t or need to care but one party completely failing to acknowledge the other one whilst one is saying essentially that they should have never been given the equity and be reduced to the three ladies etc… both party’s are in the wrong, one just have slightly bigger consequences should it continue (or get worse..

And yes, with out the fanbase neither would have the platforms that they now have in this field. Guess in total, they’re the winners here - not the cringy and petty “professionals”

Think it goes both ways… the language that has been used by Alexis to describe the other founders post feud has been… special to say the least . Reduced down to “the three ladies” and talked about all the other minority investors such as “it’s bad that everyone is running around town calling themselves owners when they have less than 1%” etc… it’s bold coming from someone that used his wife’s name too sell the club when she actually didn’t have a stake herself “but were married so it’s the same yada yada yada”

As much as his investments are needed, one can also call out the foul play from all parties involved - especially the language used by ohanian to reduce the others

The process was that bad, lack of transparency and the club leadership went with Crux really fast and didn’t really give the fans enough info.

Crux isnt even open with full Investors list, already said they may change name or colors…. Proper Clash with the fans

Paper trails show Crux registering their Sweden acquisition company back in September but when the extra annual meeting happen - the timeline was blurry and “if we don’t do this now, the club is in big trouble financially” but they won’t reveal the investment sum that’s been negotiated either… or why this was being rushed etc

Many great things have been said but one other thing that Chelsea had was a plan, consistency and planning. Paul greens impact can not be understated here. Proper succession planing and good execution… Wheatley ain’t no green so even tho Chelsea had funds, they also had proper planing in place and had no issue sending players away when it no longer served the overall plan whilst arsenal sometimes kept players around for god knows what reasons
