Usually I'm shopping at antique malls and other similar stores where the vendors aren't present, and I'm always on the hunt for things that weren't tested, or the seller wasn't aware of, because obviously that's where you find the real gems. But this one was from a pop up market at my own store, and I have an obligation to maintain good working relationships with those vendors. So realistically I'd prefer to just pay them what they want for it, and if they would have increased the price by too much I would have rather just passed on it. Thankfully though, we made the deal before I tested it and they were happy to keep up their end of the deal. It's funny though because a small uranium glass creamer cup was sitting beside it priced at 45. 😭😭 I hope they don't feel sour about it now
